3 Introduction We are excited to announce the all new, mobile-responsive, template-based, drag & drop builder from Net-Results. This incredible new tool makes it easy to create great looking s - for Outlook, Gmail, ios, Android and more - in just minutes. Here are some of the exciting highlights: Drag & Drop you don t have to know HTML to create fantastic s Mobile Responsive The s you build will look great on mobile devices as well as laptops and desktop machines automatically Template Driven choose a great looking template to get started quickly Your s will look great on laptops and desktop machines as well as mobile devices running ios & Android In this guide, we ll provide an overview of the of the new drag & drop builder and take you through how to take advantage of many of its capabilities. 3
4 Overview The drag & drop builder consists of two panes. The left pane contains the Canvas. The Canvas is where you drop items like images, buttons and text into your . You ll see your changes in real-time. The Canvas (highlighted on the left side in this image) You ll find that you may drag items around in the Canvas and drop them into new locations. This makes it easy for you to experiment with layouts and designs. You may also make a copy of any element in the Canvas with a single click of your mouse. This allows you to put your s together with easy speed - it s truly a pleasure to work with. 4
5 The pane on the right-hand side of the builder contains the Builder Tools. The Builder Tools consist of three tabs and are where all of the hands-on action of building great looking s takes place. The first of these tabs is labeled Settings. This is where you ll name your , set it s subject line, and provide other basic information about your . Builder Tools: the Settings tab (highlighted on the right) 5
6 The Palette tab is like a painter s palette, but rather than colorful splotches of paint, it contains the content blocks that you may drag and drop onto the Canvas. As the image below reflects, we ve provided all the elements you need to create great looking s quickly. Builder Tools: the Palette tab (highlighted on the right) This document covers each of the content blocks available to you on the Palette tab in great detail. Please read on. 6
7 The Styles tab allows you to control fonts and their colors & sizing, background colors for the regions in your , spacing of various elements, and default settings for commonly used HTML blocks such as headings (<h1>, <h2>, etc.), and links. Builder Tools: the Styles tab (highlighted on the right) We ve divided your s into 4 regions: Preview, Header, Body and Footer. Each offers their own independent style controls. You also have the ability to control settings for the Page itself, such as the background color for your . Of course we ve set you up with attractive defaults to get started easily. 7
8 The image below provides a closer look at the controls available to you on the Styles tab. As you can see, you re able to adjust the appearance of your without having to know anything about HTML. Page Styles allow you to quickly set the styles for your 8
9 The Palette We ll now take a closer look at each of the 10 draggable elements available to you on the Palette tab. Text Bordered Text Divider Button Image Image Group Captioned Image Bordered & Captioned Image Code Footer You simply click to drag & drop any element onto the Canvas. Clear highlighting makes it obvious where you can drop your element. Once on the Canvas, any element may be dragged to a new location at will. 9
10 Text Text Blocks may contain headings, titles, paragraphs and other text. It s simple & easy to make changes to your text. You will see your text change in real-time on the Canvas as you type. Set the styles for all the text in your block by making changes on the Style tab. 10
11 Control styles for specific words or sentences from within the Content tab. Insert Personalized Fields from a drop-down menu in the Visual Editor. You can also link directly to your Downloadable Assets such as PDF files. Split your text block into two columns via the Settings tab and make changes to the content of each. 11
12 Bordered Text Bordered Text blocks have the same capabilities as a text blocks. Your text will sit within a bordered box that comes with a default background color. Use the Content tab to change your text in real-time. Just like the Text block, you can split Bordered Text blocks into two columns. Additionally, you can control the color of the box as well as the thickness and color of the border on the Style tab. 12
13 Divider Dividers allow you to create clean separation between different areas of your . You can control their line thickness, color, line style, and top and bottom padding. 13
14 Button Drag-and-drop Buttons can be linked to any web address you like or directly to a hosted content asset such as a PDF file. Buttons are styled based on Twitter s popular Bootstrap framework making them attractive by default. Control your button s appearance including color, size, border, spacing, border radius, font styles, width and alignment. 14
15 Image Images can be selecting by browsing for existing images in the File Manager or uploading new ones. Center or align images to either side of their containers. 17 Image Group Image Groups have all the same editing capabilities as Images. They can also be arranged side by side or vertically using the Settings tab. 17
18 Captioned Image Captioned Images combine an image with text of your choosing and have all the editing features of Text blocks and Image blocks. Easily arrange their relative positioning, their widths, and, when applicable, the alignment of your image. 18
19 Border & Caption Bordered & Captioned images are just like Captioned Images. You have the added capability of controlling background color and the color & thickness of a border. 19
20 Code Code blocks allow you to leverage custom HTML and inline CSS styling of your choosing within the structure of an template. 20
21 Footer The Footer block automatically inserts your physical mailing address and an unsubscribe link into your .
