THAT S PITTICOLOR! is the main theme of the June fairs and it will be about color and colors, the colors we are steeped in, the colors that surround us, the colors that we wear, that are inside us and in front of our eyes. With a set designed by Oliviero Baldini, the Fortezza da Basso will be transformed into a kaleidoscopic experience of installations, light plays and surprising forays into the world of color. LIVINGCOLOR The LIVINGCOLOR exhibition staged by the Corriere della Sera magazine LIVING specifically for Pitti Immagine and dedicated to telling the story of color as an expression of creative energy. A photo gallery, located at the entrance to Just Like a Man on the Upper Level of the Main Pavilion, will explore the theme in all of its contemporary nuances, as well as the infinite ways it can be interpreted in furnishing, decoration and design. #laviadelluomo Just Like a Man will be the setting for a special installation Le vie dell Uomo Following in the wake of the successful #LAVIADELLUOMO project dedicated to Milan s Via Gesù, the epicenter of Italian lifestyle for men, Just Like a Man will be the setting for a special installation Le vie dell Uomo, each edition of which will talk about the streets dedicated to luxury goods and men s fashions all over the world. In the year of Expo it will making its debut on Milan s Via Gesù which will be moving to Florence for the occasion: A Gentleman's Notes, the illustrated street map with the concept and brands participating in the project, will be reproduced at the entrance to the Upper Level of the Main Pavilion, with a project curated by Sergio Colantuoni. #GOLDMANIAC Sala della Ronda A For THAT'S PITTICOLOR!, Pitti Uomo presents #GOLDMANIAC, an exclusive limited edition capsule collection dedicated to the color of gold and on sale in a special temporary shop set up in the Sala della Ronda, the new extension of the Futuro Maschile section. The first of a series of partnerships with leading international retailers, #GOLDMANIAC is being produced in cooperation with the Milan fashion store, Antonia. JUST LIKE A MAN Padiglione Centrale, piano attico Interest in the most exclusive spirit of classic menswear led to the creation of Just Like A Man, the Pitti Uomo exhibition project on the Upper Level of the Main Pavilion with a layout by Patricia Urquiola. It is a project dedicated to a new way of interpreting high-end clothing for today s man that is extremely refined and composite. The comfortable atmosphere of a contemporary Gentlemen s Club features a highly select merchandise offering and special areas - the barbershop offered by Proraso and the fumoir area - all striking settings that offer services and opportunities for relaxing breaks and that represent a part of impressive scenery. And next to the lounge bar signed by Cuoio di Toscana, that will offer the opportunity to experience a real " leather experience". Final 27/08/

19 EVERYDAY EYE POP Padiglione Centrale, piano inferiore The border-territory where fashion meets eyewear Eye Pop is the special area dedicated to eyewear and produced by Pitti Immagine in cooperation with MIDO, the key international trade event for eyewear. On the Lower Level of the Main Pavilion, this project explores the bonds between eyewear and fashion with emphasis on the highest quality and attention to design, featuring a selection of innovation-oriented brands. The offering is designed to meet the needs of top buyers and also of eyewear firms seeking new creative synergies. OPEN Sala della Ronda B Open, the new Pitti Immagine project that offers a sophisticated interpretation of new generation collections that move beyond gender concepts, a rapidly rising segment that is attracting more and more of the international market s attention. Thanks to this future-oriented mindset, OPEN hosts a special selection of international cutting-edge collections - clothing and accessories designed to be worn by him or her. OPEN, designed to highlight a specific concept in style, will be in the Sala della Ronda B, in a conceptual setting by Storage Associati. UNCONVENTIONAL Archivi The project devoted to luxury underground styles, expressing an established lifestyle phenomenon and a growing market bracket, UNCONVENTIONAL presents a combination of innovation and research, a non-conformist approach and outstanding materials. The area features an exclusive selection of international brands with a feisty look, super-contemporary outfits and a strong genderless imprint. And both the location, the Archivi with its post-industrial allure and the setting by Storage Associati are just as striking. TOUCH! Arena Strozzi Touch! is the section which by definition presents the most eclectic looks in contemporary men s clothing that combine research and internationality. To satisfy this demand, as of this edition Touch! will be bigger and in a new location in the heart of the fair s avant-garde area, the Arena Strozzi. Now we can truly offer our exhibitors and buyers a fuller stage for most visionary and cutting-edge styles a unique blend of re-renderings of tradition and an eccentric touch. FUTURO MASCHILE Sala delle Nazioni & Sala della Ronda Futuro Maschile has always been one of the most highly regarded sections at Pitti Uomo before of its acknowledged role as both a manifest of changes in classic-contemporary menswear and as a concept lab pinpointing the most advanced looks in formal wear. Starting this edition, Futuro Maschile, which is situated in the Sala delle Nazioni, will also occupy the Sala della Ronda. A space that will host a group of super-select names and their collections, adding an even fresher twist to the section s style offer, and a more varied product mix developed for an international audience of sophisticated buyers who are ready for new ideas. At this edition it will extend to present another ten brands. As always at L Altro Uomo, they will be clothing and accessory collections that reflect an advanced kind of creativity that is capable of anticipating changes in styles and tastes. WHO IS ON NEXT? UOMO Arena Strozzi In June, in cooperation with Altaroma and L Uomo Vogue, Pitti Immagine will present the seventh edition of Who Is On Next? Uomo, the competition that seeks out new Italian or Italybased talents in men s fashions. The names of this edition s finalists are Ilaria Lepore, L72, Miaoran, Omogene, Vittorio Branchizio for prêt-à-porter; and Mani del Sud and Marco Laganà for accessories. THE LATEST FASHION BUZZ Padiglione Centrale, piano inferiore The Latest Fashion Buzz is the project produced by Pitti Immagine in cooperation with L Uomo Vogue and GQ Italia that shines the spotlights on some of the most talented and promising designers of men s fashions. The Latest Fashion Buzz will showcase collections by a select group of prêt-à-porter and accessory designers who embody a new concept of modernity in modern formal and edgy formal clothing. BORN IN THE USA Archivi Pitti Immagine is continuing its cooperation with one of the world s most vital trade fair organizations, Liberty Fairs, the U.S. fairs created by Sam Ben-Avraham. The Archivi area will host BORN IN THE USA by Liberty Fairs, the project that will be bringing some of the best born-and-made in the USA brands to Florence and showcasing a great mix that ranges classic styles to sportswear. PITTI IMMAGINE LOVES MINI. MINI JOINS PITTI IMMAGINE Piazzale della Ghiaia Pitti Immagine and MINI have signed a partnership agreed for a series of projects they will produce jointly in 2015: the focus will be on the most original lifestyle trends and urban culture. It is a creative partnership between two worlds that share values and objectives linked to lifestyle characterized by innovation and creative research. MINI will be present at Pitti Uomo 88 with an area of over 100 sq. m. showcasing a projet that will see MINI become firmly embedded in the world of fashion, confirming once again at this edition its support for young Italian designers.
