4 AUTOMATION SERVICES DIVISION The Automation Services Division provides a full range of specialized instrumentation and Control system engineering, configuration and integration services. It has emerged as a leading integration center for instrumentation Control systems / Process automation solutions in partnership with reputed Multi-National vendors/suppliers with a commitment to total integrated solution. The division is responsible for Control System Engineering, configuration, integration, FAT, SAT and associated services including site installation, commissioning support and after-sales support / maintenance services activities related to Process Control Systems DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM (DCS) PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) SYSTEMS Being a partner with Emerson Process Management, this Division is responsible for providing value added specialized services and solutions to various industries by suggesting apt control systems (among DCS/SIS/PLC/SCADA) with associated range of system integration capabilities. The team of recognized engineers provide round the clock services to upkeep the installed based systems running at its peak operable condition always as well as proficient in the complete range of automation control systems end to end solution of different layers practiced in the process industry. ALMEER s facility in Kuwait has been recognized by Emerson-USA for RS3 and DeltaV SureService facility certification since It provides quality support services to all of its customers in the region. 5 CALIBRATION & SERVICES DIVISION The various services provided by the division includes This division offers services on repair, testing and calibration of process Instrumentation, Valves, MV Electrical testing, Fiber optic cabling and specialized services. The division has a broad spectrum of In-house and on-site services to offer. The Workshop has the facility of highly sophisticated and NAMS/NIST traceable calibration test Equipment. It also has qualified, trained technical experts and maintains International Quality Service Standards. Calibration shop is equipped with standard Test equipment which have traceability to primary standards like NAMAS and NIST standards. Computerized Valve Test Rigs with adequate resources have been allocated for valve testing, calibration & servicing. Calibration, test and repair of Process Instrumentation. Repair, overhaul, refurbishment, testing and calibration of Safety / Control / Mechanical / ESD Valves, Safety equipment and test equipment. Onsite calibration, testing, servicing and commissioning of various types of process instruments and valves. MV & LV Switchgears, Transformers, Cables and other Electrical equipment Testing. Fiber-optic cable splicing, termination and testing. Field and onsite Commissioning services. Provision of skilled manpower for Commissioning support and specialized service. 6 ENGINEERING AND PROJECTS DIVISION ALMEER s promise on offering Total Solutions is better demonstrated in the execution of major turnkey projects, which is offered through this division having diversified capabilities to handle challenging tasks. ALMEER is an approved contractor in the field of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power & Water Industries in Kuwait. It has a continuous track-record of success and achievement in the execution of many major turnkey projects involving disciplines of Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil & Controls. The activities of division include: ESTIMATION AND TENDERING DESIGN & DETAILED ENGINEERING PROJECT PLANNING, COST CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT MATERIALS PROCUREMENT AND MANAGEMENT INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING AND START-UP ENGINEERING SOFTWARE AND DOCUMENTATION QA/QC AND HSE ASPECTS OF PROJECT The Projects Division has full backing and support of a well equipped Engineering office and Workshop for pre-fabrication & assembly. This value-adding ingredient carries specific importance in construction activities by ensuring that all project requisite materials and equipment are procured, stocked, regularly updated and replenished. Computer aided facilities with latest version of software, including AutoCAD, CAD Worx Pipe, INTOOLS, (Smart Plant Instrumentation) CAESAR II, ProPlant-VR Plant modeling, ETAP, STAD, MS-Projects, Primavera are available and extensively used for Engineering services and project monitoring activities. Each project assigned to ALMEER is executed with the strict adherence to quality, health, safety and environmental requirements. There are numerous cases of projects executed in collaboration with International companies either in joint agreements or in the role of an executing partner.

7 MAINTENANCE DIVISION ALMEER is a major player in offering maintenance services to Refineries, Oil & Gas plants, Petrochemical plants, Power & Distillation plants etc. in Kuwait This division handles long and short term based Maintenance Service contracts with KOC, KNPC, EQUATE, PIC, MEW, JO and other clients in Kuwait. ALMEER has earned a solid reputation for a wide variety of maintenance contracts which include all disciplines such as Mechanical- Static & Rotating equipment Turbines, Compressors, Flow Lines, HT/LT Electrical Equipments, Plants & Substations & Instrumentation & Control Systems. The activities of this division mainly include: Maintenance planning Routine, Preventive and Break-down maintenance Condition monitoring, equipment diagnostics and health survey of equipment. Minor & major overhauls of Turbines, Compressors, Engines, Pumps and other Rotating equipment. Maintenance of Flowlines, Well Heads, Manifolds and Other Static equipments. Maintenance of Instrumentation, Control system, SCADA, telemetry sytem etc. Maintenance of Fire & Gas detection system. Maintenance of Low, Medium & High Voltage Electrical equipment, System and accessories, Cathodic Protection System etc Secondment of Engineers, Supervisors and other skilled personnel ALMEER s Maintenance division is supported by well experienced and trained maintenance personnel at all levels, some of them are OEM trained. A large inventory of specialized tools, tackles, ligs and fixtures, OEM tool kits, Diagnostic equipment, Remote visual Inspection equipment, Alignment tool kits etc, are available with this division. Specialized OEM Software are used for analysis and condition monitoring of equipment and maintenance planning is carried out on Client s MMMS system. 8 MANUFACTURING DIVISION The Division established in1997 as ALMEER INDUSTRIES FOR CONTROL PANELS as an ALMEER subsidiary, specialize in the design and manufacture of instrument control panels, industrial enclosures and related accessories for use in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals and Power & Water industries in Kuwait. Set in a well engineered layout, this facility is located at the Amghara Industrial Area. It houses a large fabrication yard machine shop, assembly shop and a paint booth. The synergy of highly specialized and skilled technical staff, in combination with modern, sophisticated machinery, is the key to delivering ALMEER s commitment to product excellence. A well equipped library of international standard are stocked to meet with all possible client needs. Catalogues and informations kept constantly refreshed. Computer facilities with the latest versions in software are including Auto Cad and Primavera, are available and extensively used for engineering services and project monitoring activities. Proven manufacturing programs linked with skilled and talented work force combine to achieve standards and quality in the entire range of products manufactured. Adequate resources and state-of-the-art equipment facilitate all sizes of fabrication. This Division has totaled the supply of more than 4,000 panels and enclosures of different kinds and various custom-built designs, including weatherproof type of industrial enclosures and instrument junction boxes. Other services include electroplating plant for galvanizing and tin plating on copper, computerized as well as chemical etched engraving, industrial sandblasting and painting making this vast facility truly composite and wholly independent.
