4 Process Plants Corporation is a full service group providing process development engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance management expertise for the process industry. We provide single point responsibility in performing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for projects. PPC has extensive experience in the petrochemical, organic and non-organic chemicals, powder metal, cement and co-generation fields. ENGINEERING SERVICES As you review this information, you will see that we are highly experienced in the engineering and design of industrial gas plants, petrochemical and chemical process plants, manufacturing plants, and other types of industrial process. We have provided engineering services to supplement our clients' current staff at their site on an interim basis, or for specific projects, provided detail design engineering in-house at our office in western PA. Formed February 1987, engineering design services that PPC s engineers can provide are: 1. The development of P & ID drawing's and Electrical Schematics. 2. Process design and development of flow sheets. 3. Preparing Mechanical Equipment and Instrumentation specifications. 4. Design of Electrical Power distribution systems. 5. 6 Project Management PPC begins with a well mapped project management plan for implementation and effective project controls program to focus decision-making. PPC keeps construction moving by effectively administering contracts; managing costs and schedules; maintaining essential communications; handling scope additions and deletions; tracking progress and conducting quality inspections. On renovation or expansion projects, PPC plans carefully to minimize disruptions of the ongoing operations. PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING DEVELOPING PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK PPC calculates the Heat and Mass Balances and develops the process. Flow and instrument flow diagrams complete with utility requirements and operating conditions are prepared. An equipment list with specifications is prepared and a preliminary general arrangement and layout drawings too. Also included are construction specifications, budget estimate suitable for capital appropriations and an engineering, procurement and construction schedule.

7 DESIGN ENGINEERING PPC has in house capability to perform detail engineering. PPC has an experienced design team which has been working together for many years. This team has the experience and the mindset to design for operability, constructability and economy. PPC provides a full compliment of design services to handle the complete project. 10 CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING PPC S engineering is well known for its design, engineering and project management skills. Integrated with these disciplines on every PPC job are experienced and knowledgeable construction-minded personnel who add exceptional value and cost effectiveness. What is not generally known is that PPC can also provide site construction management teams to manage construction activities on projects, even where other firms are responsible for the engineering and design scope. CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT PPC s construction management personnel are solid industry professionals with handson field experience and up-to-date working knowledge in planning, scheduling, design, procurement, material handling/control and construction of process plants, refineries, compressor and pump stations, as well as the fabrication, transportation and the installation of modular structures and facilities. This is accomplished through the implementation of formal project specific constructability plans which provide the framework for conceptual and detailed design reviews from start to design completion. We then implement the Construction Execution Plan taking the completed design package and performing all activities required to solicit construction bids, select the contractors, construct the production facility and pre-commission the facility for start-up. PPC is a multiple subcontract Construction Management, Start- Up Firm. The scope of work plan is based on PPC management techniques to control field activities and selection of qualified subcontractors.

11 PPC Experience and Qualifications Section 1 - PROJECT SERVICES 2008 Our Construction Manager (CM) is responsible for all activities on the site. It is essential to maintain a tight control on all workers employed in the project effort. Additional staff, reporting to the CM will be used when necessary to provide the level of control reuired to monitor subcontractor performance. The CM will pre-qualify subcontractor performance. The CM will pre-qualify subcontractors with regard to safety record, past expertise, past performance, size of company and business philosophy. He will assist the owner in bid evaluation, pre-award clarification meeting and award of contract. The CM is responsible for safety, budget, schedule and performance of the subcontractor, client reviews, verification of all billings versus a weighted work percent complete and ultimate start-up and performance of the project.
