By understanding the nature and role of social innovations in all five countries, we aim to highlight existing trends and challenges in the field of social innovations and develop a common ground for further discussions during the forum. 11:30 a.m. Coffee Break 12:00 p.m. Session II Anchoring a Culture of Cross-Sectoral Cooperation This session will focus on the question of how to operate across boundaries between different sectors, elaborating on existing promising practices as well as discussing the impact of different institutional settings characterized by diverging organizational logics. We will concentrate on innovative solutions and look at concrete efforts for creating collective impact and shared value. Furthermore, we hope to gain important insights into cultural influences shaping the perception of cross-sector partnership. 1:30 p.m. Lunch 2:30 p.m. Departure for Site Visit (all) The site visits are intended to provide participants with practical insights into organizations addressing pressing social issues in an innovative and entrepreneurial way. By taking a close look at the promising practices and operational challenges faced by these local actors, we hope to offer participants a better understanding of the daily work of change agents on the ground, provide exchange and inspiration as well as encourage further engagement. Under the name of Public Service Hall, these places provide most public services such as issuing important and necessary documents like birth certificates and identity cards, passports or marriage certificates. Through these services and the way they are provided, the House of Justice in Georgia is paving the way towards innovation-driven good governance mechanisms for tackling pressing social challenges.

Option II: Social Innovation: Integration Koda Community Education Centre, Tetritskharo Municipality, Georgia The Koda Community Education Centre offers various vocational and self-development courses to IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons) and local community representatives. With the main goals of socio-economic integration of IDPs and improvement of their social welfare, the centre runs courses in computer skills, foreign languages, office manager skills, small business management and handicrafts, among others. It also offers free medical and law consultations, as well as special trainings for youth club members, teachers and community leaders. Option III: Social Innovation: Creative Industries Georgian Arts and Culture Center, Niko Nikoladze Street 7, Tbilisi 0108 The Georgian Arts and Culture Center (GACC) is actively engaged in strengthening the economic viability and self-sustainability of cultural institutions, crafts-based small- and medium businesses/enterprises, and individual artists and artisans. It also works towards the development, promotion and marketing of Georgian national arts and crafts and the preservation and promotion of Georgian cultural heritage and contemporary Georgian art. During presentations and discussions, solutions for specific cases will be carved out. The workshop hosts will introduce their cases providing inspiration to others, raising questions, and receiving advice and support from participants. EcoLab EcoLab is the Armenian Country Program of Joint Civic Education. It is based on the idea of Education for Sustainable Development for young environmental activists or those who want to gather the chance to receive capacity building and execute their own project ideas. Hosted by: Diana Chobanyan Country Director, EcoLab Yerevan Impact Hub Moscow Impact Hub Moscow is part of the global Impact Hub Community, which seeks to create innovation and coworking centers for social entrepreneurs. The concept is that impact makers or hubbers are given a chance to join a new breeding ground where they can find and work out ideas and solutions together. Hosted by: Anastasia Gulyavina Program Director, Impact Hub Moscow C@rma Turkey C@rma is a creative idea for matching the needs of NGOs with people who would like to volunteer on a project basis. It offers a great opportunity for NGOs to build their online supporting community in a small market where trust and engagement really matters. Shifting from isolated impact to collective impact is not merely a matter of encouraging more collaboration or public-private partnerships.
