3 rt Therapy at Magee Rehabilitation ospital Since the inception of the program more than a decade ago, Magee s rt Therapy program has served more than 7,500 individuals with disabilities of all levels. rt Therapy has helped people increase self-esteem, resolve conflicts, reduce stress, inspire self-discovery and achieve insight. Many of Magee s patients have incurred life-altering spinal cord or brain injuries that require long -term physical and emotional rehabilitation. rt therapy helps patients cope with this process, and is often regarded as a crucial part of their recovery. rt Therapy provides tangible outcomes, proving what patients are capable of while facing great adversity. Co-treating with hysical, Speech and Occupational Therapists, rt Therapy enhances the physical, cognitive and emotional well-being of Magee patients, allowing them to foster confidence and become independent and healthy members of the community.
