2 Nora s Story... I pioneered nail technology into South Africa in 1985, setting a very high standard in both training & product for the protection of the consumer. Today 20 years later our industry is Governmentally recognized as a trade. With many nail companies now operating and with pride Dream Nails is still the number one brand in our country. The next generation of make-up is now being pioneered into our country namely, Permanent Intradermal Cosmetics. On researching the very best product a decision was made to bring in a product from Germany, believing it was far superior to anything offered in the country. But alas! The course I took at great expense to learn the basic procedure of intradermal cosmetics lacked quality information and quality pigments. As a result many problems arose in the early days of my practice. I found due to having to mix my colours & inks containing iron oxide, the pigments would not stay permanently, light brown would turn pink, dark brown changed to purple, other colour would fade to almost nothing over time. And my clients were experiencing a lot of pain during a procedure. As a result the clients became discouraged having to return many times for touch-ups as well as having to endure many hours of painful applications and re-applications. Determined to learn how to improve the techniques and the final result, I began my research all over again. (Enquire with Erika if u wish to be trained in this technique) Skin Needling is also called Facial Needling or Medical Needling the technique reduces the depth of wrinkles and fine lines on the face. It also reduces shallow depressed scars such as Chicken Pox or Acne Scars. Facial Needling is a natural skin rejuvenation method that fills and soften wrinkles and it does not use chemicals. fillers, injections or lasers.
