Duties include consultation and training to clinicians, child welfare professionals, and foster parents utilizing National Child Traumatic Stress Network Materials (NCTSN) including a foster parent training manual development pilot evaluation project AD-OPTS Coordinator. Bethany Christian Services, Grand Rapids, MI Responsibilities included development and implementation of a $400,000 four year federal adoption opportunities grant to provide trauma therapy services to adopted children and their families in five Bethany locations. This included marketing, coordination of services with other agencies, model development, training and supervision of staff, program research design and evaluation, development of a trauma training curriculum for parents & professionals, development of web based trauma resources, and insuring compliance with expectations of the funding source. This also included presentations at federal, state, and local meetings regarding the program s progress. Carew-4

A range of therapeutic interventions were utilized depending on the individuals being served. Responsible for facilitating community team & child and family teams, developing methods, forms, & evaluation, community relations, networking, securing additional funding, & implementation of service plans with wraparound clients Wraparound Coordinator. Family Impact, Grand Rapids, MI Community Mental Health Contract. Responsibilities included development, implementation and coordination of wraparound services in Kent County. Responsible for facilitating a community team & child and family teams, developing methods, forms, & evaluation, quality assurance, community networking, & implementation of service plans with wraparound clients Families First Supervisor. Bethany Christian Services, Fremont, MI Responsibilities included supervision of Families First staff, program operations, data collection, community networking, insuring contract compliance, & collaboration with State DHS operations. Our team was able to successfully implement Families First in Newaygo County & expand the program one year later to include Probate Court referrals as well. Duties also included in-home family therapy, client advocacy, facilitating trainings, and agency administrative team responsibilities Wraparound Coordinator. Bethany Christian Services, Fremont, MI Responsibilities included development, implementation, & coordination of the setup of wraparound services in Newaygo County. Responsible for developing & facilitating a community team, monitoring child & family teams, developing record keeping methods, resource development, and community liaison work. This was a part-time position in conjunction with full time Families First supervisory position Families First Therapist. Bethany Christian Services, Grand Rapids, MI Responsibilities included intensive in-home family therapy with clients referred by protective services with abuse & neglect issues. Areas of treatment included substance abuse, physical and sexual abuse, domestic violence, and physical and emotional neglect. Short term strengths based therapy was provided to families, children, and parents in their own homes. Duties also included Carew-5
