Duties include consultation and training to clinicians, child welfare professionals, and foster parents utilizing National Child Traumatic Stress Network Materials (NCTSN) including a foster parent training manual development pilot evaluation project AD-OPTS Coordinator. Bethany Christian Services, Grand Rapids, MI Responsibilities included development and implementation of a $400,000 four year federal adoption opportunities grant to provide trauma therapy services to adopted children and their families in five Bethany locations. This included marketing, coordination of services with other agencies, model development, training and supervision of staff, program research design and evaluation, development of a trauma training curriculum for parents & professionals, development of web based trauma resources, and insuring compliance with expectations of the funding source. This also included presentations at federal, state, and local meetings regarding the program s progress. Carew-4
