VegaStream PSTN Gateways and pbxnsip The VegaStream VoIP Gateway portfolio reduces business phone bills and can truly improve business efficiency. Our Vega VoIP Gateway portfolio supports analog, ISDN Basic Rate and ISDN Primary Rate interfaces for North American and European standards and all products are fully tested and certified with pbxnsip. The Vega range allows businesses to reduce their telephony communications costs by routing inter-site calls over their given choice of IP network. With support for analog PBX trunks together with analog and ISDN handsets, VegaStream's VoIP Gateways provide the perfect answer for IP-based voice services and for connecting to service provider broadband access over DSL and cable networks. The VegaStream portfolio comprises: Vega 400 VoIP Gateways supporting up to 120 VoIP calls via 4 E1 Interfaces Euro-ISDN ISO QSIG QSIG Feature Transparency (H.323) CAS RSMFC 4 T1 Interfaces NI1/NI2 AT&T 5ESS DMS100 CAS (RBS) ISO QSIG QSIG Feature Transparency (H.323) Vega 50 Europa VoIP Gateways supporting up to 10 analog ports via 2 BRI Interfaces (4 Channels) 4 BRI Interfaces (8 Channels) 4 FXS + 2 FXO 8 FXS + 2 FXO Vega 50 6x4 FXS VoIP Gateways supporting 10 analog ports, available in two different configurations The following configurations are available as standard 4 FXS + 2 FXO 8 FXS + 2 FXO Vega 5000 VoIP Gateways supporting 24 or 48 analog ports 24 FXS ports and 2 FXO ports 48 FXS ports and 2 FXO ports

Vega 400 The Vega 400 connects existing digital PBXs and the public network to IP networks bringing dramatic telephony cost savings. The Vega 400 is a new class of VoIP gateway - field upgradeable to support up to 120 VoIP calls and delivering maximum throughput for all supported VoIP traffic. The Vega 400 VoIP Gateway is provided with 4 E1/T1 interfaces and can be purchased with various capacities for handling up to 120 VoIP channels. At glance: 4 E1/T1 interfaces Up to 120 VoIP calls Field-upgradable through expansion modules SIP and H323 VoIP signalling N. American and ETSI PRI signaling, QSIG, T1 CAS Simple and Efficient Expansion Vega 400 has been designed with the future in mind, comprising a base unit with expansion slots and, through this expansion, additional VoIP capacity can be added in the field. In line with the growth of inter-site voice traffic, additional VoIP channels can be provisioned with ease when needed. Flexibility and Simplicity of E1/T1 Configuration Each E1/T1 interface is independently configurable as either Network Side or Terminal Side and allows the Vega 400 to be connected to both a PBX and the ISDN simultaneously for a varienty of applications. This eliminates disruption to the configuration of existing equipment and increases the flexibility and choices available for call routing. The Vega 400 supports a variety of signalling schemes: ETSI ISDN NI1, NI2, AT&T, 5ESS, DMS100 ISO QSIG Basic Call and QSIG Feature Transparency CAS (Channel Associated Signalling) This superior flexibility results in significant levels of interoperability with a wide range of existing telecommunications systems. VegaStream VoIP Gateways also support SIP, H.323 and T.38 Fax and this further extends Vega 400's interoperability with a broad mix of VoIP equipment.

Vega 50 VoIP Gateways Vega 50 Europa 4 or 8 Port VoIP Gateway The latest addition to the Vega 50 portfolio, the Vega 50 Europa VoIP Gateway connects a range of legacy telephony equipment, including PBX's, ISDN telephones, ISDN, analog phones and the PSTN to IP networks. The Europa supports up to 10 analog ports, and either 4 or 8 basic rate ISDN channels on 4 interfaces - 4 BRI interfaces supporting NT and TE mode. The following gateway configurations are available as standard: 4 FXS + 2 FXO 8 FXS + 2 FXO 2 BRI Interfaces (4 channels) 4 BRI Interfaces (8 channels) Total Flexibility of BRI and Analog Configuration Each BRI Interface is independently configurable as either Network (NT) or Terminal Side (TE) and allows the Vega 50 Europa to be connected to both a PBX and the ISDN simultaneously. This eliminates disruption to the configuration of existing equipment and increases the flexibility and choices available for call routing. The Vega 50 Europa is configurable for different country requirements including tones and line impedance, 600R, 900R or CTR-21 making it easy to deploy for a wide variety of applications. This ensures that VegaStream connected networks, within multinational site locations, can be supported with confidence. The Basic Rate Interface (BRI) Vega 50 Europa VoIP Gateways support ETSI BRI while the analog variants support standard Loop Start signalling resulting in significant levels of interoperability with a wide range of existing telecommunications systems. VegaStream VoIP Gateways also support SIP, H.323 and T.38 Fax and this extends that interoperability to a broad mix of VoIP equipment. Vega 50 Europa VoIP Gateway, when equipped with FXS ports, are also fitted with two FXO ports. When powered, Vega 50 Europa will route calls to or from these two FXO ports. Under power failure conditions, the two FXO ports provide a hard-wired bypas feature to the two FXS ports. This allows PSTN calls still to be made, giving resilience and confidence of business continuity, even under power failure conditions.

Vega 50 6x4 FXS The Vega 50 6x4 FXS gateway enables a range of legacy telephony equipment, including PBXs, key systems and analog phones to connect to VoIP networks. The Vega 50 6x4 FXS supports up to 10 analog ports and is available in two variants: 4 FXS + 2 FXO 8 FXS + 2 FXO Flexibility and Simplicity of Analog Configuration The Vega 50 6x4 FXS is configurable for different country requirements including tones and line impedance, 600R, 900R or CTR-21 making it easy to deploy for a wide variety of applications. This ensures that VegaStream connected networks, within multinational site locations, can be supported with confidence. The Vega 50 6x4 FXS analog variants support standard Loop Start signalling resulting in significant levels of interoperability with a wide range of existing telecommunications systems. VegaStream VoIP Gateways also support SIP, H.323 and T.38 Fax and this extends that interoperability to a broad mix of VoIP equipment. Vega 50 6x4 FXS gateways are also equipped with two FXO ports. When powered, Vega 50 6x4 FXS will route calls to or from these two FXO ports. Under power failure conditions, the two FXO ports provide a hard-wired bypass feature to the two FXS ports. This allows PSTN calls still to be made, giving resilience and confidence of business continuity, even under power failure conditions.

Vega 5000 The Vega 5000 VoIP Gateway range is the Winner of the Internet Telephony 2005 Product of the Year Award and is designed to connect analog phone systems to IP networks. Available with 24 or 48 FXS ports, the Vega 5000 analog VoIP Gateway is designed to connect standard analog handsets typically to an Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP) or a corporate network. It also offers two additional network-facing analog ports or connection to a telephone line or analog PBX. All VegaStream VoIP Gateways support SIP, H.323 and T.38 Fax, resulting in significant levels of interoperability with a wide range of existing telecommunications and VoIP equipment. The Vega 5000 is configurable for different country requirements including tones and line impedance. This ensures that IP connected networks with multinational site locations can be supported with confidence in virtually all instances. When powered, the Vega 5000 VoIP Gateway will route calls to or from the unit's two FXO ports. Under power failure conditions, the two FXO ports provide a hard-wired bypas feature to two FXS ports. This allows PSTN calls still to be made, giving resilience and confidence of business continuity, even under power failure conditions. Density With up to 48 FXS ports in a single 1U high enclosure which is only half a rack deep, VegaStream's range of VoIP Gateways provide exceptional density for deployment, conserving space within a communications room.
