5 Company Overview Atlas Telecom is a premium telecommunications and Security company specializing as a system integrator, distributor and marketing representative for the Middle East. Founded in 1983 in Abu Dhabi, Atlas Telecommunications has since expanded to serve the entire GCC region. The company now employs over 400 personnel across two offices and workshops, and is continuing to experience rapid growth. In 2004, there was an opening of a specially designed service centre for the repair and maintenance of our Telecommunications and Electronic Security division s products and the creation of a separate division for our recent successes in the supply of satellite based internet services the Satellite Communication Division. At Atlas we help our broad base of customers, ranging from departments of the UAE military and government to international businesses and private clients to address complex technology issues.
