3 00010 AMC for FRP/PP repairing in NRL Pltility The item covers the following services: 10 Square foot 4, APPLICATION OF FRP COATING FOR REPAIRING OF FAILED PORTION, AFTER SURFACE PREPARATION Removal of the existing lining from failed surface of vessel/tank/headers by scrapping/mechanical /chemical/thermal ways whichever is feasible and get rid off all previous lining material from the surface, Surface preparation by mechanical ways or grit blasting/shot blasting if reqd, for application of protective coating, Application of FRP coating on the surface of the vessel/tank /headers etc and allow for curing of the applied lining. The applied resin should be suitable for 30% HCL acid service and thickness should be minimum 5 MM or as required by the service/operating condition upto maximum 7 MM thickness. 20 Square foot REPAIRING OF PP SHEET BY RELAYING NEW SHEET AND WELDING, AFTER SURFACE PREPARATION Removal of the existing lining from failed surface of vessel/tank/headers by scrapping/mechanical /chemical/thermal ways whichever is feasible and get rid off all previous lining material from the surface, Surface preparation by mechanical ways or grit blasting/shot blasting if required for application of protective coating, Repairing of PP Tender No. : OC Sheet 3 of 5

4 sheet by relaying of new PP sheet & welding, on the surface of the vessel/tank /headers etc and allow for curing of the applied lining. The applied resin should be suitable for 35% NAOH caustic service and thickness should be minimum 5 MM or as required by the service/operating condition upto maximum 7 MM thickness. 30 Square foot PREPARATION OF MOULD, CASTING WITH FRP FOR PUTTING BACK IN SERVICE Preparation of mould, casting with FRP of 10 mm thick and repilicate the original part for putting back to service.the applied resin should be suitable for 5% HCL acid or 5% NAOH caustic service. 40 Feet 7, FABRICATION OF PIPING IN FRP ALONGWITH FITTINGS LIKE ELBOW, TEE, REDUCER ETC EXCEPT FLANGE FOR REPLACEMENT OF PIPES/ HEADERS Preparation of fixture for fabrication of FRP pipe alongwith elbows/branch lines/reducer /tapings etc without flange for acid OR alkali service. The measurement will be done in Feet(Ft), however party has to quote for this item in Ft/inch dia. Minimum thickness of the pipes should be as per standard engineering practices and according to the operating/service conditions.the applied resin should be suitable for 5% HCL acid or 5% NAOH caustic service Tender No. : OC Sheet 4 of 5

5 50 Inch Dia 2, FABRICATION OF FLANGE IN FRP INCLUDING INSTALLATION IN THE FRP PIPES Preparation of fixture for fabrication of FRP flange including installation in the FRP pipes for use in acid / alkali service. The measurement will be done in inch dia.
