Sealed Quotations are invited from experienced contractors for Repairing of damaged gypsum board false ceiling and painting with epoxy paint in Animal House in NIB Noida on the attached quotation form. Please quote most competitive rates for this work, on the enclosed quotation format including all taxes, duties, T & P etc. required for proper completion of work. The quotation form may be down loaded from NIB Website free of cost. Sealed Quotation should be dropped in NIB tender box or reach NIB, Noida on or before the closing date, i. e., up to 3:00 P.M. and the same shall be opened on the same day at 4:00 P.M. in presence of the representatives of the contractor, who wish to be present during opening of the quotations. 2 Quotation No. S.1-36/07/NIB/Engg. (Civil) Name of Work: Repairing of damaged gypsum board false ceiling and painting with epoxy paint in Animal House in NIB Noida - Reg. 1. Introduction: The National Institute of Biologicals (NIB), Noida, invites sealed quotations from the experienced contractors on prescribed quotation form for Repairing of damaged gypsum board false ceiling and painting with epoxy paint in Animal House at NIB Noida. The work is to be done within a shortest possible time on urgent basis. 2. Scope of Work: Gypsum board false ceiling which is damaged due to water leakages from pipes above it is to be cut & removed in regular shape and size. Repairing of false ceiling is to be done by fixing new gypsum board. Necessary cut-outs for light fittings, AC grills, fire sprinklers etc. will be made in the false ceiling. The repaired portion of the false ceiling will be finished and painted with epoxy primer, paint matching with the surrounding area. Patch work epoxy paintings will be done in animal rooms and corridors by removing peeled- off patches, carrying out necessary repairs by filling undulations with plaster of paris, chalk mitti etc., applying priming coat and epoxy paint matching with surrounding area. Patch work painting of animal room steel doors is to be done by duco/ aerosol paint to match with existing colour shade. The work site will be cleaned- off any debris, malwa etc. and the debris, malwa shall be disposed- off outside NIB Campus at municipal designated dump yard. 3. Time of Completion: The repairing work shall be completed within the shortest possible time however complete work shall be completed within 15 (Fifteen) days from the date of issue of work order. The work may be kept on hold for some time for coordination with other activities or other urgent office works. Suitable time extension will be given for such period of hold without any increase in the rates/cost. 2

3 4. Payment: Payment will be made after completion of work and production of bill by the Contractor. 5. Bill of Quantity: The quantities given in the quotation form are approximate quantities. Payment shall be made as per the measurement of actual work done at site. 6. Tools & Tackles: a) All tools, tackles such as cutting machine, drill machine set, cutters, ladders, ropes, working plate forms, false ceiling channels for renewing, paint brush, epoxy paint material etc. will be arranged by the contractor and no extra payment shall be made for the same. b) Water & Electricity: Water & Electricity for carrying out the works will be provided by NIB at one point near the site free of cost. 7. Right to accept or reject the Quotations: Director NIB reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the quotations without assigning any reason thereof. Patch work painting on gypsum board false ceiling Sft with epoxy paint two or more coats on new work with approved quality epoxy paint including applying priming coat in the colour shade matching with existing. Two or more coats to make the surface smooth. 3. Patch work painting of walls with epoxy paint Sft. 600 including scrapping peeled-off patches with wall putty, filling cracks, undulations etc. to make the surface smooth for painting including applying primer wherever required complete work. Two or more coats on old work with approved quality epoxy paint. 4. Painting in patches on stainless steel doors with Sft. 200 duco/ aerosol paint including s/o all materials, labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion of work 5. Providing and fixing false ceiling at all height Sft. 180 including providing and fixing of frame work made of special sections, power pressed from M.S sheets and galvanized with zinc coating of 120 gms/sqm (both side inclusive) as per IS: 277 and consisting of Amount (Rs.) 4

5 angle cleats of size 25 mm wide x 1.6mm thick with flanges of 27 mm and 37 mm, at 1200mm centre to centre, one flange fixed to the ceiling with dash fastener 12.5 mm dia x 50mm along with 6mm dia bolts, other flange of cleat fixed to the angle hangers of 25x10x0.50 mm of required length with nuts & bolts of required size and other end of angle hanger fixed with intermediate G.I. channels 45x mm running at the spacing of 1200 mm centre to centre, to which the ceiling section 0.5 mm thick bottom wedge of 80 mm with tapered flang4es of 26mm each having lips of 10.5 mm, at 450 mm centre to centre, shall be fixed in a direction perpendicular to G.I. intermediate channel with connecting clips made out of 2.64 mm dia x 230 mm long G.I. wire at every junction, including fixing perimeter channels 0.5 mm thick 27mm high having flanges of 20mm and 30 mm thick 27 mm high having flanges of 20 mm and 30 mm long, the perimeter of ceiling fixed to wall/ partition with the help of rawl plugs at 450mm centre, with 25mm along dry wall 230mm interval, including fixing of gypsum board to ceiling section and perimeter channel with the help of dry wall screws of size 3.5 x 25 mm at 230 mm c/c, including jointing and finishing to a flush finish of tapered and square edges of the board with recommended jointing compound, jointing tapes, finishing with jointing compound in 3 layers covering up to 150mm on both sides of joint and two coats of primer suitable for board, all as per manufactures specification and also including the cost of making openings for light fittings, grills, diffusers, cut outs made with frame of perimeter channels suitable fixed, all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the Engineering in Charges but excluding the cost of painting with : 12.5 mm thick tapered edge gypsum moisture resistant board Total Taxes extra if not included the rates Sub Total Amount (in words) Rs...
