2 Our Invitation The Dermatology Foundation is pleased to extend this invitation to attend the 2016 DF Clinical Symposia, to be held January at The Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Florida. This peer-reviewed program is accredited for 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits and offers the latest authoritative and practical information presented by distinguished faculty. Net proceeds of the program will go to support dermatologic research. Educational Objectives This program is accredited for 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to: n Improve communication with pediatric dermatology patients and their parents who seek natural therapeutic options. n Describe evolving knowledge of androgenic alopecia and emerging therapeutic approaches. n Improve techniques for basic surgical procedures using both basic and more complex surgical tools. n Appropriately utilize emerging therapeutic options to improve treatment of moderate to severe urticaria. n Recognize and improve treatment of skin reactions from new anti-cancer therapies. n Effectively work up unusual eczema cases to avoid misdiagnosis of immune disorders. n Identify filler complications to treat them and improve outcomes. n Select appropriate workup and therapeutic interventions for cutaneous lupus. n Assimilate evidence about recently introduced and emerging psoriasis therapies to balance risks and benefits and determine optimal treatment outcomes. n Properly diagnose and treat graft versus host disease to improve patient outcomes and effectively collaborate with oncology colleagues. n Describe our emerging understanding of alternative and complementary medicine in dermatology and the evidence base that exists to evaluate it. n Effectively counsel patients about comorbidities associated with psoriasis to reduce long-term risks. n Recognize opportunities for leadership in medicine and public service. n Understand the forces at play in healthcare reform implementation, and begin to prepare for changes dermatology will need to undergo to adapt to an evolving healthcare system.

Hotel Reservations A limited number of hotel rooms have been reserved at a discounted rate of $449 for meeting registrants only at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. To make your hotel reservations, call (888) The special room rate is available through December 18, 2015 and requires a deposit for the first and last day of your stay. Room confirmations will be sent directly from the hotel. Hotel Cancellation Policy Hotel reservations must be cancelled no later than December 18, 2015 to receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations received after December 18, 2015 will result in forfeiture of the deposit. No-shows will be charged the contracted rate for all reserved nights.
