1 "NoVAS - the Nordic Veterinary Acupuncture Society is part of IVAS - the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society which is a worldwide advocate in veterinary medicine to create and maintain optimal health in all animals. Legislation for veterinarian treatment of animals vary in the different Nordic countries, and any treatment given by veterinary acupuncturist must be in accordance with national legislation. Recommended courses and education, information on treatment, ideas and opinions might therefore not represent all members, the board or the editor of NoVAS. The TCM - Traditional Chinese Medicine - diagnoses in the case reports however, are mandatory, although many practitioners use a more neuro-endochrinological approach of veterinary acupuncture." Well, in case, any of you should have missed it, it is now time to tell you the unbelievable news: THIS YEARS IVAS-CONGRESS IS HELD IN SCANDINAVIA!!! In Aalborg, the 4. biggest town in Denmark. It is unfortunately too late to sign in at low price but there are still a few places. And there are a lot of NoVAS-members, that have signet in, so you will have the opportunity to meet old friends as well as meet some of the pings from IVAS (if you are not one of those, who already did then they will be old friends to meet again). To save us all from 2 travels in one year, the NoVAS-board decided to postpone the annual meeting in NoVAS, and have it in connection with the congress. So even though it is not precisely according to the NoVAS rules it seems to be a reasonable decision, the board made this time. So, if you did not already, really consider to sign in for the congress!! ONCE again, the board tries to confuse us. Earlier we were told, that the annual meeting would be at 20.00, Friday 27. of August. Now, all of a sudden, it is changed to 8.00! Maybe they are trying to keep us away? In that case, let us disappoint them, and get there, a lot of us, in time and ready for a marvellous meeting!!
