Below you will find the basic agenda for the upcoming meeting. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 23 SGIA Event 9:00am to 4:30pm o This event is being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. o Transportation will be provided by the RSA. RSA Vendor Reception 6:30pm 9:30pm o More details will be forthcoming over the next few months on this always informative and entertaining event FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24 Shareholder Business 8:00am 12:00pm Canon/NAE Speaker Lunch 12:00pm 1:00pm Friday Afternoon Educational Session 1:15pm 5:00pm o MARKETING - This session will discuss the branding transition from a printing company to a construction information management company as well as the transition from marketing only products to products and solutions. As the way people communicate has evolved, it will also discuss creative ways to speak to your clients young and old. Marketing your company on the web, custom phone apps, signage, tradeshows, sponsorships, campaigns and brochures to name a few. o LARGE FORMAT COLOR - This RSA University session will take a much deeper look at all the business, production and sales aspects of large format color. The goal of this session is to get into more detail and ideas that companies can take home and implement into their color workflow immediately. We will be covering topics including the following: Selling the right product for the proper application; Sector selling, how to set up a price matrix; and, learn how to minimize your waste & monitor you cost of goods. We will also take a look at software for job costing and production; profiling solutions and efficiencies (produce faster) along with installation, professional packaging shipping, kitting, finishing, features and benefits for each product, working with vendors and hardware. We will have several RSA members heavily into color included in our workshop. 3 THURSDAY, OCTOBER 23 SGIA TRADESHOW AND EXPO 9:00am 4:30pm This event will be taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the RSA has arranged for transportation to/from the convention center. The buses will depart from the hotel front entrance, with the first bus departing at 9:00am. The second bus will depart at 9:30am and the third bus will depart at 10:00am. Returning from the SGIA show, the first bus will depart at 2:30pm, the second bus at 3:30pm and the third bus at 4:30pm. In this position he guided MagCloud s evolution from early HP Labs concept to a fast growing online publishing business. Andrew managed a global team, and pioneering partnerships with commercial publishers, small businesses and print service providers, to grow MagCloud into one of the premier cloud-based selfpublishing services. There are many rumors about the future of LED toner based technology.
