2 OVERVIEW» WEH HVAC-R Connectors simplify workflows and reduce costs WEH offers many advanced quick connectors that make connection to fluid lines easier, more reliable and with high integrity sealing. WEH has a suitable quick connector for almost any application whether for refrigerant filling of air conditioning systems, ice machines, refrigerators, water coolers etc. or for pressure and function tests of straight tubes as for example testing of heat exchangers, pressure vessels, compressors, condensers, evaporation coils etc. The cost savings during production and servicing resulting from easy, fast connection can be considerable.» TW111» TW111 R410A» TW110» TW108» TW230» TW241» TW141» TW141L» TW221» TW52» TW920» WEH Jaw locking mechanism for a perfect fit All quick connectors have the unique WEH Jaw locking mechanism developed by WEH. Hard wearing jaws clamp securely and safely onto the test piece. Jaw designs cater for a variety of different connections, including internal and external threads, straight tubes, holes and bores among others. Laborious screwing and unscrewing of hoses is eliminated. The latest sealing technology provides a pressure-tight connection for your application. 2

By cutting the loss of refrigerant on connection and disconnection by more than 99 % the WEH TW111 connectors are truly environmentally friendly. So compared to traditional hand tightening connectors you save money as well as valuable time.» TW111 Filling and maintenance of refrigerating and air conditioning systems with ʻSchrader valves. The TW111 is characterized by its outside diameter of only 25 mm and is available with a red coloured grip sleeve for the customer's high pressure connection port and also with a blue coloured grip sleeve for the customer's low pressure connection port. The media inlet can be chosen between inline or 90 version.» TW111 R410A Specifically designed for filling refrigerant R410A in refrigerating and air conditioning systems with ʻSchrader valves. The TW111 R410A is also available for customer's high pressure connection ports (red coloured grip sleeve) as well as for customer's low pressure connection ports (blue coloured grip sleeve). 4

6 AUTOMOTIVE AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT» WEH ACR Connectors for filling of automotive air conditioning equipment Fast and easy filling and evacuating of automotive air conditioning equipment Automotive air conditioning equipment has to be filled and evacuated with refrigerants firstly during production and later on refilled repeatedly for maintenance purposes. WEH Connectors are an idispensable tool for these applications.» TW110 Filling and evacuating refrigerants in automotive air conditioning equipment during production. An integrated shut-off valve prevents the escape of refrigerants and so gives good environmental protection performance. Due to its robust construction, the connector is ideally suited for continuous operation.» TW108 Reasonably priced alternative to the WEH TW110. The TW108 is suited for filling and evacuating refrigerants during maintenance of automotive air conditioning equipment. The connector is available with a red coloured grip sleeve for the vehicle's high pressure connection port and with a blue coloured grip sleeve for the vehicle's low pressure connection port. 6

8 STRAIGHT TUBES AND BORES» WEH Test Connectors for leak testing of straight tubes and bores Testing tube connections - Child's play Wherever straight tubes have to be pressure tested or function tested, the WEH Connectors are the right tool, being ideal for applications in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. Testing applications include heat exchangers, pressure vessels, valves, transducers, compressors, condensors, evaporation coils, air conditioners, heating systems and many more HVAC-R components. In the automotive industry the quick connectors are used for radiator testing. Simplified workflows, shorter operating times and increased productivity can be achieved when using WEH Connectors. A wide range of quick connectors for connection to outer or inner tube diameters and bores is available comprising a wide choice of sealing ranges.» TW230 Lever-actuated quick connector for vacuum and pressure testing of straight tubes and bores e.g. underwater, pressure decay and helium tests up to 70 bar.» TW241 For filling and evacuating as well as for pressure and vacuum testing of straight tubes up to 70 bar. The TW241 has a wide tolerance band and is also suitable for underwater, pressure decay and helium testing. 8

10 STRAIGHT TUBES AND BORES» WEH Test Connectors for leak testing of straight tubes and bores The WEH Test connectors are availabe for various connection configurations and have been designed for sealing internal or external tube diameters and bores.» TW141 For pressure and function tests of external tube diameters, e.g. leak testing of heat exchangers and filling of closed cooling circuits with refrigerants.» TW141L Extended version especially for difficult-to-access tubes. The extended design allows to establish a leak-tight connection even where space is restricted.» TW221 For pressure and vacuum tests of internal tube diameters and bores up to max. 3 bar. The manually operated connector is secured to the component by its connection seal. 10

11 Lack of space? No problem for the extended WEH Test connector! The TW141L allows vacuum and function tests of tubes in close proximity to each other as for example testing heat exchangers. 11

12 CYLINDER FILLING» More WEH Connectors for filling of gas cylinders WEH also offers suitable quick connectors for filling gas cylinders with refrigerants. The connectors are specifically designed for cylinder valves with external thread (with or without a residual pressure valve).» TW52 Suitable for filling of gas cylinders with external thread (with or without a residual pressure valve) with CO 2 or refrigerants. The TW52 is optionally available with the WEH TVCO 2 linear valve.» TW920 Refrigerant filling of cylinders with external thread and residual pressure valve. The pin inserts of special cylinder valves need not be removed for filling (normally the removal of the RPV pin is required before filling). As an option the TW920 is available with a pneumatic linear valve.» See for yourself!
