We ensure that your reporting data is accurate by monitoring reservations prior to travel and after ticketing, checking that specific data elements are present in the reservation, in the appropriate format. The module adds one more safeguard against inaccurate data appearing in your travel management reports. Some of the elements monitored include: > Statement information such as organizational unit members and name field formats > Fare justification fields > Ticketing/delivery dates > Form of payment > Special meal requests QCX HOTEL. QCX Hotel proprietary software searches for lower hotel rates that may be available to your travelers, either through your own hotel negotiations, a Carlson Wagonlit Travel rate, a corporate rate, or a special hotel promotion. 10 QCX Reporting and Management Tool QCX Hotel works by accessing both the CRS-based hotel reservations database (maintained in all major reservations systems) and our own low rate search system. Rates in the hotel database are cross-referenced by location and price. In our case, however, location is determined by characteristics that are unique and special to each city rather than by blind criteria such as zip codes. This selection refinement enables the system to group hotel alternatives into meaningful decision modules for travelers with appointments scheduled in a particular area of town. QCX Hotel identifies alternative hotels within the same location which are lower than the booked rate. QCX SEAT. The QCX Seat module obtains the next best available seat when the preferred seat is not available or the pre-assigned seat is not the traveler s preferred seat. Unlike seemingly similar programs, QCX Seat uses the CRS seating maps to adjust for changes in aircraft type that take place after we make the reservation. QCX TRACK. The QCX Track module identifies all Electronic Ticket PNR transactions and reviews them up to 7 days after the last travel segment, alerting our agents to any unused flight coupons. These coupons may be printed for refund processing or future travel. This has proven to be a valuable tool in identifying the status of unused e-tickets that cost corporations millions of dollars annually.
