3 ISMC 2014 NOVEMBER 17-20, 2014 INTERNATIONAL SLEEP MEDICINE COURSE Welcome to the Interna.onal Sleep Medicine Course 2014! The Interna.onal Sleep Medicine Course is a joint venture of the Sleep Socie.es of Belgium, the UK and The Netherlands. In a three year scheme each Society organises this 3-4 days las.ng course. Up to now the course gave an overview of all aspects of Sleep Medicine and focussed on the physician or psychologist who already had some experience in the field. The 2014 course is based on other ideas. This resulted in two separate courses: one for sleep specialists and sleep psychologists and one for sleep tecnicians. Both courses have a schedule of half.me plenary lectures and hands- on and interac.ve teaching in small groups during the other part of the day. The venue is a centuries old convent which was gradually modernized over a period of many years leading to an op.mal centre for courses as ours. St Michielsgestel is a nice village near the larger city of Den Bosch. If weather permits walking or biking in this region is a pleasant experience. 13 COURSE INFORMATION ISMC 2014 NOVEMBER 17-20, 2014 Abstracts All abstracts and presentations will be provided on an USB stick. Certificates of attendance A certificate of attendance will be handed out to each participant at the end of the course after handing in of their badge and the course evaluation form. Examination There will be no examination. After this course delegates should be able to succesfully finish the ESRS exam. This exam will be held in the spring of ISMC Registration and Information Desk Opening hours: Monday to Thursday from Monday to Thursday from Liability The ISMC Organising Committee is not responsible for any damage as a result of participating in the ISMC 2014.

14 ISMC 2014 NOVEMBER 17-20, 2014 ACCREDITATION Dutch accreditation Certificate of attendance A certificate of attendance will be available at the registration desk on Thursday, 20 November after the last session. Certificates can not be forwarded to you after the course. We have applied for ESRS sponsorship For Dutch participants: Via de Nederlandse vereniging voor Neurologie (NVN) zijn 20 accredatiepunten aangevraagd. Volgens de huidige regels is aanvraag bij 1 wetenschappelijke vereniging van medisch specialisten is accreditatie bij 1 wetenschappelijke vereniging, in dit geval de NVN, voldoende voor accreditatie bij de andere beroepsverenigingen zoals bv NVKNO of NVALT. Voor het verkrijgen van de accrediditatiepunten hoeft met dus niet perse lid te zijn van de NVN. Huisartsen, specialisten ouderengeneeskundigen, artsten voor verstandelijk gehandicapten en sociaal geneeskundigen vallen niet onder deze regeling.

For all questions regarding room reservations please report to the reception staff. Check-in at De Ruwenberg is possible from hrs. The check out time is before hrs. fast for hotel guests is served from hrs. Catering Coffee, tea and mineral water will be available for free during the day. Lunches are also included in the participant fee. All other food and beverages are for your own account. Dinner Dinner will be served at hours in the restaurant of the Ruwenberg.
