Heart/Vascular and Stroke Risk Screenings At the Health Screening Center North Side Professional Office Building, Suite 3 Wed., Nov. 8, 8-11:30 a.m. or Wed., Nov. 15, 8-11:30 a.m. or Fri., Nov. 17, 8-11:30 a.m. The screenings are open to both men and women and measure: Total cholesterol, HDL (good cholesterol), LDL (bad cholesterol), Triglycerides, Glucose, Blood Pressure, Waist measurement and includes a Personalized Cardiovascular Health Risk Assessment. Vascular studies include: Carotid Artery Scan to identify potential stroke risk, Aorta Scan to identify potential aneurysm risk, and Ankle Brachial Index to identify potential peripheral artery disease. A cardiovascular RN will review the coronary risk profile and the test results with each individual to help identify areas of risk and lifestyle changes needed to ensure good cardiovascular health.
