Added methodology guidelines to help counties assess map accuracy. Spatial county boundaries will be agreed upon by adjacent county officials. Orthorectification of 2005 color IR imagery of estuaries and shorelines. C. Smith cautioned re practicing surveying. Randy providing NAIP imagery via geotiff format.
2 / LizardTech has a free viewer. DCBS JuliRoss-Mota James Holdun DCBS has renewed interest & support for GIS. Big regulatory agency containing OSHA, Worker s Comp, Insurance, Securities, etc. Researching applications of other jurisdictions to meet similar needs. Need zipcode database (Employment has good database and is working on polygon boundaries.) DEQ Malavika Bishop TMDL application is now online; similar apps for vehicle inspection and burn bans are in the pipeline. ODF Emmor Nile ODF has added fish presence & forest practice data to hydro framework. Successful GIS support of five fires. LiDAR data for Trask Watershed available on line; paid for by Weyerhauser, so data cannot be distributed; hillshade was a big hit. Western Polk Co. area LiDAR project pending. Emmor will send out URLs for data mentioned. E. Nile ODOT Milt Hill OR-Trans status map of road centerlines loaded; goal is completion by end of year. ODOT has contracted with ESRI for training sessions in Salem for a discount; these will be available to other agency personnel: Geodatabase, SQL admin; ArcIMS.
3 / Master Services Agmt may be available to other state agencies. This is a list of ten pre-qualified vendors that can be enlisted by task order. It expires in a year but could be extended. GEO Master License Agreement Cy Smith First step to obtaining a master license is to declare the GIS software standard as ESRI products. Then negotiations can begin for providing simplified license management and discounted prices. Agencies will be able to share licenses with potential for statewide license. This will not preclude use of other GIS software. Declare ESRI products as software standard for Oregon C. Smith GEO Framework Gail Ewart 8 th GIS Stds Forum set for Dec. 7 in McMinnville. PLSS stewardship presenting to OACES in vember. Model Stewardship documents in draft but terminology still unsettled. Framework database app is online & available for updating; take care making changes since versions are not tracked. Mature draft docs related to stewardship. Work with OSU to assure simple backup routine for Framework db. G. Ewart, et al. OWRD Bob Hydro datasets will be ready for Framework by end of October; PNW clearinghouse only has zip files by 6 th field HUC. Goal is to access hydro data published on line and accessible by WMS, etc. Bob will work with BLM and other hydro partners to achieve data access Oregon envisions. B.

DSL Randy Sounhein ODA Diana Walker DOGAMI Paul Staub Upgrading public ownership database to comply with Cadastral Exchange Standard. Pesticide-related activities require GIS data support. Marketing has discovered GIS and now wants to use it for envoy trips. ODA will soon be testing Macs with new Intel chip. LiDAR POP pending at DOGAMI for urban areas of western OR; need for website to demo data uses; LiDAR mtg in Portland on Oct. 25 to form consortium to fund USGS effort; members will help prioritize areas. Discussion re need for LiDAR consortium coordination and standard. Work continues on seismic assessment of public buildings; report due on 7/1/07. DOGAMI submitted a series of images for inclusion in the National Geologic Map (a USGS project), which is on line. Geology compilation in the SW area is in process.

GIS Program continues to support mission requirements such as the deployment to Japan (story in Sunday Statesman Journal). OMD developing data for training areas (working with National Guard Bureau, Bureau of Land Management, and state agencies). Re-establishing the GIS Executive Committee which is responsible for governance of the Enterprise GIS. Intro to NHD workshop to be held in Salem v. 13. Bob to confirm date and time B.
