4 VOLUNTARY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES We pride ourselves on our expertise in targeting a varied consumer market. Assurant s diverse portfolio of products enables us to bring your customers supplemental insurance and membership programs not always offered through traditional marketing channels. Our product offerings are available in both English and Spanish to meet the needs of bilingual customers. They are also fully supported in both languages well after the sale, including fulfillment, claims and customer service. Identity Fraud Solutions An identity theft program that offers protection and recovery from the complicated financial tangle that can result from identity theft. Our Identity Theft Solutions program is truly the most unique and competitive solution in the marketplace today. The product is highly flexible, with a robust set of features and benefits. The program provides a user-friendly, secure, and thorough resolution option to the complicated financial tangle that can result from identity theft. This important protection also offers several plan options at varying price levels to fit the individual consumer s identity protection needs. Plans can include: Single or Triple Credit Reports & Scores Single or Triple Credit Bureau Monitoring Legal Network Access Live Restoration Services Financial Reimbursement up to $50,000 $500 Emergency Cash/Cash Recovery up to $1,000 Public Records Monitoring Credit Education Specialists And more. First Protector Our First Protector product is a supplemental homeowners insurance program that pays valuable benefits typically not covered in one s homeowners policy. First Protector helps alleviate the financial hardship that a devastating disaster can bring by paying: The monthly mortgage payment for up to two years, regardless of all other insurance, including homeowners, if a customer s home is uninhabitable for more than 48 hours. The mortgage balance if the land where the home is located is condemned or judged permanently uninhabitable. A homeowners deductible reimbursement up to $1,000, up to a maximum of 2 losses in a consecutive 12 month period. Up to $1,000 Emergency Cash to further assist with any additional expenses a customer may incur as a result of being displaced from their home due to a covered loss. Involuntary Unemployment Insurance pays the mortgage payment, or a portion thereof, in the event one becomes involuntarily unemployed. Additional optional service benefits can be offered, which include: Contractor Emergency Assistance, Contractor Referral Service, Reviews of Contractor Quotes and Emergency Messaging. An Indispensable Portfolio of Value Added Products.

5 Accidental Death and Disability Insurance An insurance product that provides valuable benefits if a customer is seriously injured or dies due to an accident. Multiple coverage amounts are available. Our Accidental Death (AD) product suite includes multiple product variations with different price points and benefits that have proven to have different appeal to different subsets of a portfolio. Our AD products help alleviate the financial burden resulting from an accidental death by offering several benefit amount options that can be chosen by the insured, along with family coverage available to include both spouses and children. Mortgage-related Life Insurance An insurance product that provides valuable benefits if a customer dies due to any event. Our Life Insurance Plans are designed to provide financial security to our customers in the event of a death. Our plans pay the outstanding loan balance or $300,000, whichever is less in the event the single or joint insured s dies due to a covered event. In addition, some of our plans feature a Living Benefit, which provides an advanced lump-sum cash payment of up to 50% of the loan balance, if the customer is diagnosed as terminally ill. Home Protection Plan A membership program that provides comprehensive benefits related to the ownership and maintenance of a customer s home and personal property. The Home Protection Plan provides: A Contractor Referral Service and Professional Review of Contractor Quotes/Estimates A homeowners deductible reimbursement up to $250 Photo inventory system to record belongings in case of theft or damage Encoded property identification stickers to help identify lost or stolen property $500 Emergency Cash if a customer is displaced from their home due to a covered loss An additional $500 for Emergency Lodging if a customer is displaced from their home due to a covered loss 24-hour home assistance from an experienced tradesperson for emergency repairs A 100% reimbursement of replacement on any covered item up to $2,500 if it is damaged or stolen within 90 days of purchase Savings of 25% to 50% on more than 300,000 brand name items with our members-only discount shopping services Extended U.S. manufacturers warranties for one extra year on all items purchased Access to MyPersonalVault, and online virtual safe deposit box available Help Safeguard Your Customers Most Important Assets.

Our call center is able to fully support inbound sales, customer service, cross-sell initiatives and some specialized services offered through our products. We pride ourselves on our commitment and service to our clients. Our Customer Service Standards are the cornerstone of our business and they are based on measured service excellence and quick turn-around times: 80% of calls are answered within 20 seconds No more than 3% abandoned calls Calls returned within 24 hours 95% of cancellations are processed in real-time, the remaining are processed within 24 hours Over 50% of our agents are bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing us to support customer service and sales initiatives in both languages. Claims Administration Our claims department has infrastructure designed to minimize cycle times, and is an integral part of managing our client relationships. We expedite payments according to the terms and conditions of the policy. By processing most of our claims in-house, it enables us to consistently meet the expectations of our clients and their customers with the greatest sense of urgency. Systems Integration Through a collaborative relationship with our Operations and Information Technology departments, we can seamlessly integrate the timely processing of quality data.
