This course will cultivate the improvement of interpersonal communication through a conceptual model, such as Safe Space. By committing to develop great leaders, your team culture can grow in a meaningful and purposeful way! Our Active Leadership workshop offers an introduction to proven tools that help cultivate a vibrant and productive team culture. Specific, targeted takeways will be provided to every participant. OPTION 2: High Five PLUS High Five PLUS a customized experience that includes climbing and your choice of: cycling, yoga, pilates, or group exercise OPTION 4: 5 Star Teams A full immersion experience that helps a team shape and develop its culture and future direction. This workshop offers a fully customizable and in-depth look into the health of your company or group s culture. This experience includes the presentation and review of conceptual frameworks designed to meet your team s needs, a climbing and fitness combination geared to put that framework into action, a catered meal, and focused discussion that will help you bring what you learn here back to the office.

This includes a reinforcement debrief at the end of the experience. Commitment: hour each TUNE-UP A tune-up is a post-experience follow-up approximately one month after your time at Movement that is designed to test participants on how much of the training stuck and re-focus them on continuing to strengthen your group s culture by utilizing the training they received day-to-day. The Boulder facility houses fitness, cycling and yoga studios and a state-ofthe-art weight room as well and averaging 50 all-inclusive-to-membership classes per week in the disciplines of: group fitness, cycling, yoga and Pilates. DENVER FACILITY The second facility in the Movement Climbing + Fitness family is located in the heart of the Santa Fe Arts District near downtown Denver. It is 31,500 square feet and features 23,000 square feet dedicated to climbing. The vertical routes rise 50 feet high, and there is a spacious and peaceful yoga studio with a sweeping view of the Colorado rockies.

6 MARY-LAURENCE BEVINGTON MANAGING DIRECTOR: BOULDER Lead Facilitators CHRIS ROSEN MANAGING DIRECTOR: DENVER LESLIE RAPPARLIE PROGRAM DIRECTOR Mary-Laurence, MFA, began instructing in 1988 and has lead mountaineering expeditions, 21 day rock camps, desert and multienvironment expeditions from the Appalachians to Alaska. She has served as a recruiter, a creative director, a leadership adjunct professor, a member of Yosemite Search and Rescue, and as a professional development guide. Highlights of her corporate clients include: Boeing, Boston Consulting, Corvel, University of Denver, DCLF, DMCLF, AeCom, Novartis, Seaman Corp., Vail Resorts and Western Union. Her publications include a chapter in the book Exploring the Power of Solo, Silence, and Solitude, for the Association of Experiential Education as well as a thesis on group process theory, and several articles in outdoor industry and leadership journals. Leslie Rapparlie, MS, MFA is a writer, an educator, and a mountain climber (not necessarily in that order). She is a former Professor at Rutgers University, Montclair State University and the University of Pennsylvania s Wharton School of Business. Leslie has over 15 years of experience working with groups in experiential education and is a certified Climbing Wall Instructor. She is also the author of five books including: Writing and Experiential Education: Practical Activities and Lesson Plans to Enrich Learning. She has contributed an article to Teaching Adventure Education: Best Practices and also authored several short stories. Chris Rosen is an experienced entrepreneur who started his career as a Merchandising Manager at Staples and moved up through the ranks to be the former Owner and Operator of Atlas Purveyors. Understanding the multifaceted nature of business development and ownership from vendor and inventory management to revenue growth to streamlining systems, Chris experience and insight offer him a unique perspective into helping your company grow. Chris is the Managing Director of Denver due to his love for climbing and his passion for starting new businesses and making them successful. He graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Arts in the History of Science and Technology and is a certified Climbing Wall Instructor. PAUL DUSATKO BRAND DIRECTOR Paul Dusatko is a professional and certified climber, climbing coach, guide, USAC Certified Routesetter, climbing industry veteran, and experienced corporate facilitator. His 24 years as a rock climber have taken him all over North America. His corporate experience has taken him from high tech start-ups to Hollywood (MGM) to Silicon Valley (Netflix). Under the mentorship of award-winning small business consultant, Rudy Miick, CMC, Paul has built a unique understanding of interpersonal communication, level 5 leadership, and group dynamics. He has successfully combined his climbing experience with his consulting knowledge in order to bring a unique and dynamic perspective to any leadership group or team. Paul has a keen sense of individual personalities and uses his hyper-sensitive tuning fork to help others discover their own intuitive strengths. Paul s positive energy and vast experience on the rocks and in the board room allows him to provide meaningful, critical, and focused guidance.
