During the retreat we will expose women to unfamiliar perspectives and inspire them to create new opportunities for themselves and others. Amel combines head, heart and body practices and theories to facilitate deep dialogue and help individuals, teams and organizations access a more profound innovation, communication and leadership development. Amel s interest in leadership has developed over a non-linear career spanning different industries and countries, and never following a traditional path. Amel is dedicated to being a bridge between belief systems, cultures and sectors, and to inspiring and enabling people to be good foregoers. Amel is passionate about bringing the values of feminine leadership to organizations, to not only make them profitable but to make them truly agents of world benefit. Amel is Faculty of internationally renewed female leader program CIYO (Coming Into Your Own). Amel brought the first CIYO in the region, Co-founder of Sustain Leadership learning and management consultancy firm in UAE, co-founder of the first Lean In circle in the GCC, Co-Founder of The LINK a female mentoring platform in the region. Amel holds a Master in organizational capabilities and Development from University College of London. Hanane Benkhallouk Hanane Benkhallouk is a consultant with broad scope of expertise, a business practitioner with over 17 years of professional experience holding senior managerial positions in Fortune 500 companies, government and non-profit organizations, across a multitude of industries. In Dubai since 2005 coming from New York where, she graduated with an MBA in marketing and finance as well as certification of master franchise development. Hanane has been actively involved in leadership and entrepreneurship development since her university days, with a focus on women empowerment that she is passionate about, she participated as a speaker mentor and facilitator /trainer at many initiatives, such as the social entrepreneurship initiative by the Emirates Foundation in Abu Dhabi, the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women entrepreneurship program in UAE, but her experience was cultivated further when she was in charge of the entrepreneurship and innovation programs across the Arab World at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum foundation. She is the co-founder of Sustain Leadership consultancy and founding mentor of the Link, a non for profit mentoring initiative for professional women in the region, she is also the Founding VP of the first GCC Soroptimist International club/dubai Chapter, (a global non for profit organisation that empowers girls and women in more than 130 Countries). Hanane co-founded the first Lean In circle in the GCC, a support group for women based on Sheryl Sandberg initiative. Born and raised in Morocco, well-traveled, fluent in Arabic, French, English with workable knowledge of Spanish. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish with a good command of Arabic.
