1 CAMPAIGN FOR CRM/POS ACCREDITATION (RR No ) AND ELECTRONIC SALES REPORTING SYSTEM (RR No ) 2005 INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS PLAN OBJECTIVE: To inform and educate revenue officials and employees regarding the provisions of Revenue Regulations Nos (CRM/POS Accreditation) and (esales) to support the successful implementation of the said regulations by all concerned BIR offices. STAKEHOLDER KEY MESSAGE/INFORMATION COMMUNICATION FRONTLINERS: Officials and personnel of RDOs, LTDOs, LTAD I and II,, BIR Contact Center and Announcements RDCs (Help Desk), BIR Girls easier on the part of taxpayers and at the same time improve the Bureau s monitoring and control of the issuance of official receipts and sales invoices by business establishments. By automating the monthly reporting of business establishments gross sales (through esales), the BIR will be able to improve its ability to detect income underdeclarations by business establishments, which will lead to the pursuit of more tax cases thereby increasing the Bureau s tax collections. The successful implementation of RR Nos and rests to a large extent on the quality of support that will be provided by the frontliners to concerned taxpayers. To inform and educate the suppliers/distributors/dealers/vendors of CRM/POS machines of their obligations and responsibilities under RR No To inform and educate business taxpayers who are using CRM/POS machines regarding the requirements and mechanics of esales. 3. To encourage taxpayers full compliance with the provisions and requirements of RR Nos and To get the support of media and cause-oriented groups in disseminating information about the Bureau s reform initiatives embodied in RR Nos and STAKEHOLDER KEY MESSAGE/INFORMATION COMMUNICATION Suppliers/distributors/dealers/ vendors of CRM/POS machines Newspaper ads/releases Only CRM/POS machines/systems accredited by the BIR are eligible for use by business taxpayers. Once a CRM/POS machine/system is accredited by the BIR, the same will be included in the list which will be posted in the BIR website/portal.
