Oxford Language College Franchise 1. What We Offer Oxford Language College (OLC) is an independent British institution registered in England and Wales (Registration Number 07204667) and an associate English language training centre of Azad University in Oxford (AUO). The OLC is set amongst beautiful woodland grounds on the outskirts of the historical city of Oxford, home to the oldest university in the English-speaking world, and renowned for its educational, and scholarly achievements as well as its publishing heritage. Over the years the OLC has built up expertise in a broad range of courses such as General English, IELTS Preparation, TTC (Teacher Training Courses), Business English, EAP (English for Academic Purposes), and other ESP (English for Special Purposes) courses. We are adding to our course offerings all the time! We have been accredited by the British Accreditation Council, which is the gold standard of higher learning institute and college accreditation. The key goal of the OLC Franchise System is excellence in teaching, in student learning, and in client care. We achieve this goal by establishing partnerships combining our experience and know-how.

What the OLC Franchise Gives You The award of an Oxford Language College franchise entitles a Franchisee to the following: OLC logos, branding and design Step-by-step franchisee support Courses, training and materials, tailored to the local market Systems and procedures support Access to Teacher Training Courses (TCC) such as CELTA and to learn the best cutting edge communicative methods and for management training too Ongoing quality control Systems & procedures Support OLC Franchise Courses Branding & Design Teacher Training Courses

a) OLC Systems & Procedures In order to guarantee the quality of its operations, The OLC has evolved a number of core operating systems and procedures. b) Branding & design Franchisees have the right to use the prestigious OLC name and display the OLC logo. Comprehensive information about the optimal look of the school is also supplied to all Franchisees, along with full branding guidelines and artwork. c) Courses A full range of General English courses, from Beginner to Advanced level, EAP, Business English (pre-intermediate to Advanced level), other ESP courses required in your market, together with a selection of the exam preparation courses most required by the Franchisee s local market (such as IELTS). All courses offered to Franchisees are based on the materials and teaching methodology used by the OLC in Oxford. d) Training Training is available to key members of the Franchisee team, including Centre Director, Academic Director and teaching staff. e) Teaching Staff All teachers will receive a structured programme of in-service training and observation. f) Support The OLC offers a high level of support, advice and guidance. This covers aspects of setting up and running an OLC franchise school, from the design of the school to best-practice marketing initiatives. As part of the Franchise Agreement, Franchisees are required to receive at least one Quality Assurance Visit from OLC in Oxford before the award of franchise and an Interim Visit when franchise renewal is required. The OLC Franchisee Agreement: What is covered? A prospective Franchisee who wishes to join the OLC Group will be obliged to offer a very high level of quality and service. To this end, the Franchise Agreement will stipulate a number of requirements and standards in the following areas which will be elaborated upon agreement.

1. Teaching, learning and curriculum requirements/standards 2. Management and organization requirements/standards 3. Learning environment and resources requirements/standards 4. Welfare and student services requirements/standards Additionally you will need to comply with some legal and regularity requirements such as Necessary arrangements to use the premises in the way permitted Staff and students health and safety Employment rules and regulations including equal opportunities Clear use of OLC branding name. Franchise Term and Financial Arrangements: - The franchise agreement is signed initially for 5 years and is renewable on payment of a renewal fee. - The Franchise Fee which is paid once only is set at 0077.00 (Seven and a half Thousand Pounds) - The Renewal Fee is set as 2700.00 (Two Thousand Pounds) which is payable at the end of the Franchise term and prior to the renewal of the Franchise licence. - The Franchisee will pay for things such as teaching materials, branded publications etc. - The Franchisee will also annually pay a Royalty Fee, which is an equivalent of 10% of the student registration fees. This will cover support and admin services, supervision and certification for the students. - The students course completion certificates will be issued by the OLC at the end of each designated level (to be agreed with the Franchisee in advance).

Franchise Process STEP 1 Complete the Expression of Interest form and return it to OLC. STEP 2 Upon confirmation by OLC, you will be required to submit an application form together with a list of documents requested for this purpose. STEP 3 Upon satisfactory review of your documents, we will confirm an inspection visit of your premises. You are required to cover the cost of our inspector s visit including airfare and accommodation. STEP 4 Upon satisfactory outcome of our inspection, we will confirm the award of the Franchise to your organisation and two copies of the Franchise Agreement will be forwarded to you for signing; you will return both copies to OLC to be signed and stamped; a copy of the signed Agreement together with a Franchise Certificate, which confirms your status as a Franchisee, will be sent to you. At the same time, OLC prepares your Start-Up Pack, and arranges delivery of resources and training.
