1. Introduction Grid Manager is here to help store owners and administrators. In many cases we lack this or that column in a table in store administration section. Grid Manager lets you overcome this difficulty - it allows you to choose which columns you'd like to display, their size, position, title. All available columns for any standard grid are at your disposal - all displayable data can be selected and inserted into a grid. You can view all your customized tables in one place with ability to reset the changes to the default table view. DragonFroot.com Grid Manager v1-0 8/13/2013 Slide: 3

2. Installation Clear the store cache under var/cache and all cookies for your store domain. This step eliminates almost all potential problems. It's necessary since Magento uses cache heavily. Backup Your Data Backup your store database and web directory. Download and Extract Download and unzip extension contents on your computer and navigate inside the extracted folder. Upload Files If you use a different from default theme - be sure to rename folders app/design/adminhtml/default/default to your store's values. Depending on the module, either or both directories may not exist in the package, no need to create them in this case. Using your FTP client upload app directory to your store root. Please note that the extension provides 'grid.phtml' file that overwrites the existing one into 'adminhtml/*/*/template/widget/' directory. DragonFroot.com Grid Manager v1-0 8/13/2013 Slide: 5
3. Configuration Back-end To configure the extension, go to the System > Simple Grid by DragonFroot DragonFroot.com Grid Manager v1-0 8/13/2013 Slide: 6
3. Configuration Back-end Grid Manager customizes standard Magento Grid view by changing grid's columns appearance and order. You can set its parameters in Grid Manager form that appear by clicking on "Customize columns" link on the right above the grid. Please note that if grid data source collection is empty then extra columns information will not be shown DragonFroot.com Grid Manager v1-0 8/13/2013 Slide: 7

4. Troubleshooting I've added extra columns but Magento reports an error on page In Admin section go to "System" -> "Simple Grid by DragonFroot", find controller and action combination of the page that caused the error, click on it and one-by-one set grid extra (i.e. which Column Origin is "Collection", but not "Grid") columns' "Visible" status to "No", each time refreshing the page on which the error occurred. You can also click "Reset columns" to set the whole grid to default view. Please note that the type of content of columns which origin is "Collection" may be undefined. Although such a situation is rare, nevertheless it's possible so be careful when setting it's visibility to "Yes". Set visible only columns you are sure are scalar, not an array. After installing the extension the store gives an error, or blank page, or suggests to start Magento installation procedure. Change the owner of the extracted extension files to the web server user and set 775 permissions on them. Clear the store cache and try again. There is no DragonFroot extensions< under my configuration section, or after clicking extension tab I get a blank page, or Access Denied error. Clear the store cache, browser cookies, logout and login again. I set up everything correctly, inserted the HTML code but there is nothing on that page. Clear the store cache, clear your browser cache and domain cookies and refresh the page. My configuration changes do not appear on the store. Clear the store cache, clear your browser cache and domain cookies and refresh the page. DragonFroot.com Grid Manager v1-0 8/13/2013 Slide: 9
