3 ABOUT THE EXTENSION COMPATABILITY This extension is compatible with Magento 1.5 and higher. HOW TO INSTALL 1. Download the file from your order 2. Unzip it and then upload the contents of the folder "magna" to your FTP server. 3. Disable you compile mode if it's enabled 4. Clear your store cache 5. You may need to logout and login again in order to access some parts of the extension 6. Enable compile mode, if it was previously enabled 7. 4 INTRODUCTION Fructus InvoiceXpress Integration gives you the ability to automatically generate InvoiceXpress Invoices and Credit Memo created in Magento. The great thing about this extension is that your workflow will remain exactly the same. There are no special buttons or procedures. Just create your Invoices and Credit Memos like you normally do in Magento. Please note that this extension does not sync other data then Invoices and Credit Memos. Per example, your taxes will not be synced between Magento and InvoiceXpress. This extension will find a match in the tax percentage between Magento and InvoiceXpress and apply that same tax. If no match is found, the default tax defined in your InvoiceXpress account configuration will be used. You can have one company per store view or if you want you can have one sequence per store view, if you want to separate invoicing between stores. 4 / 6

5 CONFIGURATION To configure the extension go to "System/Configuration/Sales/InvoiceXpress". You will find the following options there. Figure 1 Fructus Configuration API KEY Go to your InvoiceXpress account, click in "Configurations" and click on the right tab "API". If you don't have have, please generate one. Subdomain name. When you register your account, your account URL will be in the following format: <company>.invoicexpress.net. In this field, insert only the <company> value. After inserting the above information, just click "Save" in your Magento Configuration. The extension will test the data you inserted and retrieve values to populate other fields. If you have any question regarding the API KEY and your subdomain name, please contact InvoiceXpress support. ING INVOICES Please follow the instructions in the configuration section in Magento 5 / 6

6 VERY IMPORTANT NOTES There are a few, but important, notes you need to understand in order to use this extension Your Base Currency must to be Euros (EUR). If not, the extension will not create the document. Only Magento will. If you are a Portuguese company, it must be defined like that in "System/Configuration/General/<Store Information>". The Magento Invoice will also be created. If you uninstall this extension, Magento default Invoices will be used This extension only generates two InvoiceXpress documents types: Invoices and Credit Memos Only documents generated after the extension installation will also be created in InvoiceXpress If an error occurs during documents creation in InvoiceXpress, the Magento document will not be generated. This is important for auto-invoicing, like paypal and other payment systems, etc. If the invoice creation fails, it needs to be created manually Increment numbers format will be replaced by InvoiceXpress format.
