Employment contract / (or) tuiton fees paid by company Master of International Business The above degree courses at the Faculty of Business Management and Law can be distinguished by their international orientation, academic level, student population and subject content. They also share the same conditions for acquiring project assignments. If you are interested in a project assignment, please get in touch with the relevant contact person. You may also be asked to register your request on the Praktijkweb site. Introduce yourself and describe the company you represent. Explain the issue or question you would like the project to investigate. Finally, include your Chamber of Commerce number when submitting your request. The contact person will then discuss the assignment with you to determine its feasibility. Specific conditions or availability can play a role in this. COMMUNICATION Communication is a full-time Bachelors course which prepares students to become a competent specialist in the areas of business, marketing and corporate communication. Graduates are suited to find positions in mid- to large sized globally operating organizations, and have the potential to develop to a management position within three to five years. FINANCE AND CONTROL Finance and Control is a full-time Bachelors course that prepares students for management positions in the field of finance. The course focuses on international and corporate finance, accounting, business process management, risk management, external reporting, business communication and taxes. Examples of positions are international financial manager, business controller, business consultant, or bank manager. They have gone through all our vendor data to generate a specific to-do list so that we could take action. They looked at the assignment in many different ways with a completely fresh look. They also provided TNT with a full set of recommendations to optimize the process. Having a student interpret data gave us the freedom to invest our time in more directions at the same time and increased the effectiveness of the total analysis of our vendor data.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT STUDIES International Business and Management Studies (IBMS) is a 4-year full-time Bachelors course belonging to the domain Business Administration (BBA). Activities in this domain are, among others, managing & organizing, purchasing, marketing & sales, negotiating and business communication. The study programme is designed to prepare students for positions in internationally oriented companies at middle and higher management level. It was great to see how this multicultural group of students teamed up. In the end they provided us with very interesting insights and business opportunities. It was exactly the snapshot we needed of this market to further outline our plans.

LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT (ECONOMICS) Logistics Management (Economics) is a full-time Bachelors course which prepares students for a starting position as an international supplychain professional. Graduates are suited to positions in mid to large sized globally operating organizations and have the potential to develop to a management position within three to five years. Examples of positions are international supply chain manager, logistics manager, purchasing manager, or distribution manager. Practical experience in a supply-chain department, e.g. purchasing, warehousing, planning, including a methodical solution to a tactical/operational supply-chain issue. Methodical solution to strategic/tactical issues such as inventory management, supply-chain finance, distribution, and purchasing. Xuanyi Ren has helped us find new suppliers for products we buy in China. She has helped build new business relationships and search for quality products at competitive prices. Xuanyi Ren s friendly approach, excellent business skills and Chinese background have been an asset in negotiations with our new Chinese suppliers. She even represented us and met with our suppliers at the world-famous fitness show Fibo in Cologne, Germany. During her internship she also assisted in other areas such as stock control.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND LANGUAGES International Business and Languages is a Dutch-taught international Bachelors course that prepares students to work strategically on foreign markets and with foreign business contacts. Graduates find positions in the broad area of export management, international purchasing, sales, account management and international communication management. After five years of working in the field, most graduates have positions at a strategic level. CUSTOMER OR MARKET RESEARCH International market research for an external client. The assignment consists of a research project concerning a strategic and international issue in the commercial field. They speak different languages and are used to working with other cultures. Sometimes you have to deal with unexpected situations. Or surprising reactions from people. IBL students don t get alarmed by this. They are also trained in marketing, communication and commerce. Personally, I really enjoy working with IBL students. It s a course that demands serious study because you really have to be proficient in different languages. So the Internships sometimes also lead to employment. Our marketing coordinator, for example, is a former IBL student.

MASTER OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS This HAN Masters programme puts knowledge into action, providing state-of-the-art knowledge and techniques for addressing a company s specific internationalization challenge. The Master of International Business is a part-time professional programme. It can help your company develop the human capital it needs to act in the international business arena. Your employee or trainee (in a working and learning track) will investigate one of your company s international business-related problems. Master of International Business student George van Altena has been doing a learning and working track with us since 2014. He has been helping us by performing a market analysis and by giving strategic advice about our target markets, so we can offer our best product market combinations in several countries such as India and Indonesia. After a brief training, he was soon able to work quite independently due to his commercial background. We are very pleased with his work and embrace these learning and working tracks for Masters students. We intend to hire more students in the near future.
