Optional: DDSN 108 Optional: DDSN 208 CAPP 120 CAPP 120, course equivalent or consent of instructor F, S F, S Program Specific Information Students should know the following information: 1.) The Drafting and Design program offers a variety of degree options. Students wishing to get the most in depth knowledge in drafting and design should plan to take the Associate of Applied Science degree. 2.) This program has limited transfer potential to an Architecture or Engineering degree at a 4 year University. A student wishing to pursue that type of degree while beginning at the City College should choose the AS degree option since the General Education courses are more easily transferred. 3.) The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree is available to students with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. Students may enroll on the main campus of MSU Billings and take upper division credits in existing areas of study which will complement the student's AAS credits already earned. The transferability of the AAS courses will be determined course by course. Students anticipating transferring are encouraged to consult with their advisor. 4.) DDSN 108 and DDSN 208 are potential electives for the Drafting and Design students. Pre- Drafting students not registered in DDSN 109 and 110 their first semester could take DDSN 108 to get better a base in AutoCad. A student that is signed up in DDSN 109 and 110, it is not recommended or necessary to take DDSN 108. 5.) The second and third semesters of the AAS alternate which means that your second semester could look different depending on when you start your coursework. 4 P a g e
