Paytelligence - Quick Start Guide 1. Installation Double-click setup.exe to start the Paytelligence installation. Click Next > Read through the END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT. Use the down arrow to scroll down and read the entire page.
Click I Agree Click Next > The installer will automatically find your Accpac installation. Click Next >
Click Next > Please wait while Paytelligence is installed.
The installation has completed. Click Close. 2. Log in to Accpac Launch Accpac, log in as Admin into the company that you want to use with Paytelligence. 3. Data Activation Click Administrative Services Double-click Data Activation
Click Yes Select North49 - Paytelligence Click Activate Click Activate A warning might pop up. Enter your Username and Password for the Accpac SQL Database, click Save. * This is not your Accpac username and password.
If you do not have your username and password for the database, you will need your Accpac Administrator to provide this information. If you cannot connect to the database, you cannot continue the Data Activation. If everything is ok, the next window will display. Click OK Click Close 4. Add Terms Code (optional) Next, Add an AR Terms Code, name it CCARD.
5. Set up demo merchant account You can set up a demo merchant account with sample data, training data or a test environment. I do not recommend setting up a demo merchant account with your live company data. Click Paytelligence, Click Setup Click Options Click the Merchant tab
Click Add Enter a name for your Merchant Code. MERCH1 is the example used above. The Gateway defaults to North49. This is the Gateway Simulator which is used for testing and demo purposes. If you select the North49 Gateway option you will not be asked for registration information and therefore may use this for as long as you wish for demos, testing and training. Should you select any other Gateway option you will then be prompted to enter registration information. Paytelligence must be registered and licensed for use in a live environment. Click OK
Adding a Live Merchant Account You can add a live merchant account to your live company. You will be required to register the product to use the live merchant account. When you add a live Merchant Account ID you fill in the Merchant ID information provided by your chosen Payment Gateway service provider. Click OK The Options screen for adding Merchant IDs will have the additional Merchant Code Added. Click Save
The following form will appear. Fill in the form; note the required fields. If you do not have a Registration Key click Request by E-mail. An email will be created to registration@north49.com. Upon receipt of payment for the license a Registration Key will be sent to you, and once you have received it enter the Key in the field and click Register Now. Click the Credit Cards Tab.
Select Visa and Mastercard. Select Payment Codes for each. Select Bank Codes. Click the Terms Codes tab. Put a checkmark in CCARD. (optional) Click Save. Click OK Paytelligence is now installed, activated, and ready to use with the demo merchant account on your local Accpac install, Terminal Services or Server. Very Important - Workstation Install If you have Accpac installed on a server and you are running Accpac from a workstation, you absolutely must run the Paytelligence Workstation Setup from each workstation. The setup program is WSSetup.exe It is located in the NN folder in your server's Accpac folder. If you are using Accpac 54A, the folder is named NN54A. If you are using Accpac 55A, the folder is named NN55A. Example:
\\server\accpac55a\nn55a Double click WSSetup.exe The Workstation Install window will display. Click Install. Click OK. In Windows, click Start, Control Panel, Internet Options. Click the Security tab. Click Local Intranet. Click Sites. Click Advanced Notice the field "Add this Web site to the zone:" Enter your server's name there. Click Add. Click OK until you are out of the Internet Options. Close the Control Panel. Very Important: You need to repeat this process on every workstation that will be using Paytelligence.
