Malin H. Näsholm Malin is a PhD and Assistant Professor (Universitetslektor) at Umeå School of Business, Umeå University, Sweden. Her main research interest is in individuals experiences of alternative careers and organizational forms, in particular boundary-crossing, project- and network-based and coopetitive work contexts. Malin defended her doctoral thesis in April 2011. In her doctoral thesis she focused on individuals subjective experiences of global careers, involving multiple international work experiences and these individuals identity construction. She is currently doing research focused on individuals experiences of the paradox of working on coopetition projects. She is also doing research on Umeå as European Capital of Culture 2014. She teaches in the management area and research methods as well as supervises theses on the bachelor and master level.
