Step by step to registering and using 3RCertified s online platform
Step 1: Registering a Re-TRAC Connect account Go to the Re-TRAC Connect program registration page: https://connect.re-trac.com/register/rco3rc This page includes instructions for new and existing Re-TRAC Connect Users. Additional building-type modules will be added as the program grows.
The Registration page includes: creating a unique user name and password; adding building name; location; and on-site contact information.
Step 2: Activating your Re-TRAC Connect account Once registered, an email will be sent for activation. Click on the link to activate your Re-TRAC Connect account. You will received a confirmation email that your account has been successfully activated.
Step 3: account activation and program approval process. You may log in to Re-TRAC Connect, however the account will remain pending until approved by program management. Allow 24 hours for account approval. Please note your account will be approved once payment is received by RCO. Once approved, you will receive an email notification. You can now begin accessing the 3RCertified platform.

3RCertified on Re-TRAC Connect Platform Site Profile Survey The Site Profile is divided into three sections: Site & Organization Profile: asks for general information and description of site and applicant organization. Waste Management Program: include description of the building(s) waste management program. Waste Audit Profile: prompts to enter information on total occupancy, annual period covered in the waste audit. Applicants are required to fill out this survey as part of certification application; and once certified, as part of the annual review period.
3RCertified on Re-TRAC Connect Platform Certification Survey The Certification Survey is composed of 62 questions aligned with 22 Criteria. The questions are mostly yes/no responses. Note that for some questions, when clicking the yes response, a set of sub-questions will appear, including options to upload documents in some instances. Hover over the word Guidance for explanation.
3RCertified on Re-TRAC Connect Platform Waste Stream Profile Add new waste stream Select from 143 waste streams Filter by year and sort by reporting period and description. Applicants are required to provide waste generation and removal data for all solid waste generated at the site, including waste sent for disposal.
3RCertified on Re-TRAC Connect Platform Waste Stream Profile (Continued) Applicants are asked to enter information related to the process and destination of each material. For example, end market and description of the acceptance criteria for materials reused, recycled and/or disposed per waste stream. Applicants are also asked to include name and contact information for all processing services per waste stream. Users have the ability to add additional fields, following a given material until final disposition. Applicants are required to fill out the waste stream profile as part of certification application; and once certified, as part of the annual review period.
3RCertified on Re-TRAC Connect Platform Navigating pages To navigate back to the 3RCertified Status page view all surveys for a specific building click on RCO-3RCertified Status link found on the left bar. Program users can navigate using the online navigation arrow between surveys.
3RCertified on Re-TRAC Connect Platform The Manage tab enables program users to view building(s), add new ones and edit contact information. Users with portfolio manager capabilities, will be able to view all assigned buildings. Edit location information for building(s) (called organization(s) on Re-TRAC Connect). Adding a new building ( Add Organization ) will require RCO program management approval, similar to the initial application process. Manage Tab Add Event to register an event to promote through the Re-TRAC Connect community. This is not related to 3RCertified program. Add Organization to register a new building.
3RCertified on Re-TRAC Connect Platform The Message Centre enables users to view and manage messages received from program management.
Additional features of the Re-TRAC Connect Platform Dashboard: At the bottom half of your Dashboard page you will find links to join Directories and Track Data. Please note, the Re-TRAC Connect data tracking tool is separate and different from the 3RCertified surveys and database. For those interested, there are ongoing webinars about the Re-TRAC Connect system. Webinars do not include programspecific discussion.
