How does itel Data Backup work itel Data Backup provides an excellent facility to the user for taking back up of their data from the billing interface. Using this facility, billing user can take an instant back up of their database from both main and replication servers. User can also schedule a backup time as per their wish and system will take back up automatically as per user s given time. Managing data backup Login into the billing to manage data backup system. Now go to Users And Other Settings and then Manage Data System. Click on the Data Backup menu. Users And Other Setting Manage Users Manage Roles Manage Data System Data Backup Manage Language Now select Data Backup option by which you can take backup from Main server as well as from Backup server. Backup taking options can be scheduled or manual. After clicking on the Data Backup option, you will get two options. a) Backup from : This is the master server to take back up of client, PIN, rate, route and successful CDR. b) Backup from : This is the backup server where data is inserted from main server in real time. If you select the backup server then all data backups will be taken from backup server. You can take the backup from Main server as well as from Backup server. Backup taking options can be scheduled or manually. Here you need to schedule your backup. Under option, you will get 3 options. a) : Schedule backup disabled 2
Data Backup Backup From Sun Backup Backup Main This will include all Clients, PIN Rate, Balance Recharge info etc CDR CDR will be for successful calls only Reset SubmitI nstant Backup b) : Set time to take automatic backup. The time format is for 24 hours. 23:59 Fri c) : Set the time and day to take the backup in a specific day. You can select the option as per your requirement. 23:59 Fri d) Under Backup Data, You will get two options. ) Main: This will be the main database where all clients, PIN, rate and routing information exist. 2) CDR: The successful CDR exists in that database. You can define no of days to take the backup for reseller and PIN call records. Please select any of the option and click on the Submit button to save your settings. Beside Submit button, there is another option, Instant Backup. If you want to take the backup manually, you can click on that button to take an instant backup according to current settings. 2

Main: Put a tick mark if you want to take the backup of clients, PIN, rate, account balance etc. 5. CDR: Put a tick mark if you want to take the backup of successful call records. 6. Submit: press submit to save the settings. Scheduled backup for main server is activated and the system will take the backup automatically as per your mentioned time. The same process will be repeated for taking backup in weekly basis. For this, you just need to mention exact time and day on which you need to run the backup process. Schedule backup from backup server Similarly, you can configure schedule backup for a backup server. Currently it s not possible to set scheduled backup for both servers at a time. You need to choose anyone. 6
Data Backup Status If data backup only for Main server then you will get only one table:. Here main server and backup server status showing into two tables. How to Download the Backup file Taken backup file will be downloadable from the below URL which will visible in the same panel.
