SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS Evening/Night/Weekend: None. Assignment Length: 13 weeks (guarantee 40 hours per week, including Holiday weeks). Overtime Rate: 1.3 x the normal hourly rate. Overtime in excess 40 hrs per week per state and labor laws. California is 1.3 times the regular hourly rate after the first 8 hours, then 1.75 times the regular hourly rate after 12 hours in accordance with state and local labor laws. Double Time: 1.75 x the normal rate. Holiday Pay Rate: 1.3 x the normal hourly rate (All Government Holidays) *Holidays include: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Washington s Birthday, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Veteran s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Workweek: Sunday through Saturday. On Call: $4.00 per hour rate for time provider is on call. On call is to carry a beeper or cell phone. The provider must be within 30 minutes radius of the facility or the approved radius from the hospital. Call Back: The regular rate will be charged unless overtime is being incurred, then the overtime rate as agreed will be charged for the time worked only. Minimum time to be charged is one (1) hour per call back including telephone consultation.
