Absences in excess of two (2) days will result in student attendance being counted solely for enrichment, and not credit recovery, or promotion purposes.

Summer Academy Attendance Team Each school is expected to have an attendance team composed of the counselor, teacher and other staff as designated by the principal. The counselor is the attendance team leader and is responsible for monitoring daily attendance, as well as, calling parent/guardians upon each absence. At two absences the team is responsible for developing a Truancy Elimination Contract with the student and the student s parent/guardian that will address the issues impacting student absences. Student progress will be monitored by the counselor.
