What is a Corporate Responsibility User (CRU)? A Corporate Responsibility User (CRU) is an employee whose company is financially responsible for the device and service plan purchased through Premier. The transactions and options available to a CRU on Premier are controlled by the company administrator. Setting permissions for a CRU: The company administrator sets permissions for employees. By setting permissions, you allow them capabilities, such as: o o o Shop for purchases using the Premier Online Store. Perform account management using Premier Online Care. View their bill and current unused minutes. You can set permissions for all employees using either the foundation account settings, or you can set permissions for employees on a particular billing account number only. If billing account and foundation account permission settings are different, the billing account settings override the foundation account settings. 2
STEP 1: Navigate to the Permissions page a. Select the foundation account you want to set permissions for. b. Click the Manage tab. c. On the Profiles & Permissions drop-down list: To set foundation account permissions, click Manage Foundation Account Permissions. To set billing account permissions, click Manage Billing Account Permissions. 3
Types of permissions There are three types of permissions that you can grant your CRUs in Premier Online Care: Deny: Will not allow your employees to perform the specified action. Allow after Approval: Will allow your employees to perform the specific function, however, Premier will not allow the action until it has been approved by you or another company administrator. Allow Always: Will allow your employees to perform the specified action without any approval needed. 4
STEP 2: Set permissions Before you send your employees the registration link, select Allow Always for Allow Online Account Management Registration. To do all of the account management for your company and not have your employees access Premier Online Care to manage their accounts, select Deny for Enable Online Account Management for Wireless Users. To let employees change their voicemail password themselves, select Allow Always for Reset Voicemail. If you want employees to have the option of changing their optional features, but retain the final say, select Allow after Approval for Change Current Optional Features. 5
To let your employees update their phones and devices, select Allow Always for Update Device Make and Model. If you want employees to be able to change their rate plan, but retain the final say, select Allow after Approval for Change Current Rate Plan. To give employees the option of selecting when a new rate plan is effective, select Allow Always for Select an Effective Date for Rate Plan Change. To automatically send login text messages to devices ordered in Premier Online Store, select Allow Always for Allow automatic registration online for Corporate Responsibility Users. 6
STEP 3: Verify Changes a. Verify the changes you ve made to permissions. b. (Optional) If you want to change a setting, click Back. c. To save your changes, click Submit. 7
