Luca Dal Cerro, Co-Fonunder and CEO, DECODE sas, 7 Passage Thiéré - 75011 Paris (France), decode.ldalcerro@gmail.com Active participation to the activities of the society DECODE - DEvelopment COmplex DEsigned, which is specialized on the management of complex architectural projects. The role occupied into the society is expert in parametrization strategies. Study of complex geometrical, structural and technolgical problems linked with the architectural concept aiming at finding feasible solutions; Development of parametrization strategies for the solution of complex problems liked to the architectural project; Development of optimization strategies based on cost reduction logics and applied to some specific lots of complex structural/façade systems; Problem solving through traditional modeling strategies; Participation problem to each technical meeting between architects, engineers and façade specialists for the discussion of architectural-technical problems linked to the design solution; Responsability on each single geometrical, architectural or technological solution proposed and/or adopted. Contribution to the development of a proposal for a research project at European level; The first six months the activities were dedicated to the reconfiguration project of Les Halles area (Paris, France). The architectural project was developed by Patrick Berger & Jacques Anzitutti, while the PRO phase was leaded by the society Ingérop. The second period was dedicated to a research activity focused on the use of Augmented Reality as support for building construction. The results achieved constituted a framework for the development of a proposal to submit to the European Commission for funding. Furthermore this last period was characterized by the optimization of the Les Halles project, requested by the construction firm Eiffel, which participated to the tendering. September 2009/March 2010 Prof. Ingrid Paoletti, Building Environment Science & Technology Department (BEST) Politecnico di Milano, via Bonardi 3 20133 Milano (Italy), tel. +39 02 2399 5117 Cooperation for the development of a PhD multidisciplinary course, focused on the advances in architectural design and technologies. The course is based on a first part dedicated to theoretical lectures and a second part dedicated to a design workshop. Development of the course structure; Development of official documents; Cooperation in the scientific coordination. The course aims to develop competencies and skills on innovative technologies for design and construction. The main goal is to help students to achieve highly competitive levels of knowledge, by governing the whole process of building a construction system. Working prototypes are functioning prototypes developed for the purpose of proving and testing a concept and design. This puts fabrication and the physical at centre stage in challenging to design, assemble and test working prototypes. There are ten clusters formed for SG2010, which embrace a rich spectrum of approaches. Each Cluster is championed by at least two tutors who are pioneers in their field. Clusters will form around 8-16 people. Page 4 - Curriculum vitae
