5 The area covered by the proposed project is located in an area of the urban nerve center of Spoleto, in the north of the historic center and near the railway line that divides the area of the town and that includes the large area of the Piazza D armi. The design of squares and the alternation of a balance between open spaces and volumes is the very core of the project idea. The project does not arise as a new residential center closed in on itself, completely out of context, but is related to the language of the context, integrating all aspects and layers with strong language, without changing historical and social messages.

7 The function: The project offers a new fair-catching the attractive industrial building Ati-carta, now abandoned, thus giving to tourists and citizens with a gathering place for cultural and social. The area of new design includes, in addition to which, exhibition halls, conference rooms, services, restaurants, there are wide green spaces of the lungs. The pole eliminates the visual impact and chaos of the former mill abandoned some time, giving all 'whole area a new environmental identity. The concept starts from the study of the Roman town plan based on the division of territory in the main axes, the hinges and decumani, crossing the city, dividing it into several blocks in geometrically.
