why StuD y w I t h u S? We are the Interior Design Specialists We work with each student to help them realise their creative potential. Our flexible study options mean that you can login from anywhere and study at your own pace, in your own time. Our small classes ensure that you receive individual attention and support along with the ability to communicate with your peers to discuss activities and assessments. You will be mentored by specialist Educators who are experienced practicing Interior Designers and Decorators. They will guide you through your studies and ensure that you stay on track. You will have access to the latest interior design trends, suppliers and industry practices via our state of the art ecampus.
How you will study Your Educator will support you through your online journey via email, phone and online video chat. They bring a wealth of industry experience to ensure that you get the best from your study. S a / The units of study are broken down into interactive and practical sessions. / Factsheets provide the supporting information you need to know about each topic and a downloadable workbook has all of your activities. / Key concepts are reinforced using PowerPoint presentations, videos and webinars. y p study at your own pace Support from your classmates will be available in online forums where you can share advice and discuss projects. Small class groups mean that you can really connect and collaborate with your fellow students to broaden your knowledge base. Your new skills will be applied to projects which are then assessed by your teacher. The assessments are progressive as you move through the course and include research assignments, equizzes along with practical hands-on projects to inspire your creativity. Your major project involves working through a real life brief and consolidates all of your learning. The project starts with the initial client brief and works through to a final presentation - just like you would in the real world. We encourage you to attend as many external trade shows and exhibitions as possible while you re studying. Get to know all of the local suppliers in your area, collect samples and gather product references. This will not only assist you with your assessments, but help build an invaluable network of resources for when you graduate.

This highly practical, stimulating course provides you with the foundation to become an Interior Decorator. Focusing on the residential market you will develop the skills, techniques and creative ability to design and decorate inspiring residential interiors. You will explore all aspects of the interior design and decoration process; from taking an initial brief from a client through to a final interior scheme presentation. At Interior Design Online we focus on developing your personal style and creative ability, so you will have the confidence to create inspirational interiors for your clients upon graduation.
Course information Once your enrolment is confirmed, and prior to commencing each unit of study, you will have access to our IDO ecampus with your own unique student login. Here you ll find all of your course information and units of study. The ecampus is easy to navigate and will guide you through the course step by step. Course duration: Design kit: You are required to invest in a design kit as part of your enrolment in Unit 1 Introduction to Design and Colour. Your design kit includes all of the tools that you will need to work through the course activities. c I You have a maximum of 6 months to complete each unit of study and 2 years to complete the full qualification from your initial enrolment. You will need to spend approximately 10 hours per week studying to complete the work. Where you will work after graduation: / Interior magazines as a stylist / Real-estate firms / Run your own business course information / Interior decorating firms / Homeware stores / Colour consulting firms How to enrol: You can enrol anytime from anywhere. You will be placed into a group of like minded people who all have a passion for residential design and decoration. There are no formal entry requirements for our course.
