Faisal Attia Senior Associate, Al Tamimi Faisal was appointed State Counsel for the Egyptian Government in 2000, where he acted in high-value construction and investor-state disputes. He also represented Egypt in a number of international arbitral proceedings before major international arbitration institutions. Faisal then relocated to London to join a leading international law firm. In 2009, Faisal widened his Middle Eastern experience by practicing in Kuwait with a leading law firm where he was mainly handling construction matters. In 2011, he then joined Al Tamimi & Co in Dubai as a construction arbitration specialist. In addition to his legal practice, Faisal is a visiting lecturer at universities in Europe and the Middle East. Faisal is a native Arabic speaker.
