Position Overview: In consultation with the AP direct, lead and develop the ministry to 6-12 th grade (~12-18 year old) students of RCC. This ministry includes outreach, pastoral care, discipleship and leadership development; by praying, planning, developing, coordinating and leading youth to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. Desired Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in youth ministry or related field. Substantive experience in youth ministry. Excellent interpersonal and people relationship skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with youth, staff, church members, and the community. Desired Qualifications: An authentic relationship with Jesus Christ that influences every area of life. A familiarity with and experience in leading a variety of types of ministry for youth. Ability to train, and supervise ministry volunteers, and to plan and organize events. Training and experience in spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of youth. Ability to provide Christian guidance to both parents and youth on contemporary issues.
