This is a unique, one year opportunity to receive training, mentoring and a chance to further establish or develop Christ s purpose for your life, whilst being accredited a Certificate IV (30772QLD) or Diploma of Christian Ministry and Theology (30773QLD)*. Suncoast Bible College is designed to offer the maximum learning opportunity without restricting your ability to earn an income while studying. Our delivery structure also allows for a part-time model for those who have rigid work schedules. The key focus of Suncoast Bible College is to: Strengthen and equip each student in the foundation of the Word. 6 my week There is no typical day at Suncoast Bible College 1 x full day of high impact training (Monday) 1 x evening of high impact training (Thursday) 2 x God encountering chapel sessions each week (strengthening your communication with God and activating your spiritual gifts) 1 x day or equivalent participating in an area of Church life or outreach (established in negotiation with their supervisor) Regular active participation in weekend Church activities Suncoast Bible College will occasionally invite specialists to provide training in their area of speciality. This will enable students to learn from those who have gone before and glean from their wisdom. 8 subjects Christian ethics & world view Explores our moral and ethical responsibilities and boundaries within contemporary society. Christian communication Explores methods of interacting with God, various expressions and experiences of worship, and effectively communicating the Christian message in a suitable language for appropriate audiences. Old testament Survey Walks through the Old Testament noting the historical and foundational highlights from Creation til Jesus. biblical STUDIES - holy spirit Theology Explores how the understanding and experience of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the overall living in the Spirit is relevant in our current life and practice. history of movements and theology Explores the historical movement of theology over time, the development of mainstream denominations, the impact of other faiths throughout this period of time, and how the modern day church is viewed in contemporary society. NEW testament Survey Walks through the New Testament noting the historical and foundational highlights of our faith in the new covenant.

9 PASTORAL MINISTRY One of the strongest components of your ministry will be the ability to share your vision with, develop and coordinate a strong recruitment of volunteers. We will explore the angles of approach from both the needs and roles of the volunteers as well as the performance requirements of an organisation, and how these two can be linked. OTHER FLEXIBLE OPTIONS? Although this course has been designed for delivering a full-time Cert 4 or Diploma qualification, we do offer a parttime model by attendance on a Thursday Night and offer any subject to anyone who may want to only participate by auditing. If your interested in any of these subjects outside of our full-time model, please discuss with the SBC Team. CONFLICT MANAGEMENT In any leadership position, understanding the principles of good conflict management are a must. This will explore how to identify potential conflict, methodology of resolving conflict and monitoring / evaluating the overall processes. Ministry & missions and CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP Explores methods of effective leadership and skills for empowering your team.
