Batch Basket New Holding Area for faxes, printed items, and updates to the Patient Portal Can be accessed in both the EMR and PM Users can add items to the Batch Basket from many areas of the EMR, including DMS Allows multiple documents to be sent together 4

Right Click to Change Search Option It doesn t matter which option you have chosen in your reference list search preference... 12
Right Click to Change Search Option A right click in a reference list allows a user to change that option on the fly to allow for a completely different search 13
New Search Options You can now search a reference list using the And/Or option 14
Change the folder the Template Manager opens to Whatever option is chosen in the User Preferences for the Template Manager, when the user accesses the Reference list for the Template Manager, it will open to that fold 15
Change the folder the Template Manager opens to For example, when you click load template from within an encounter, it automatically opens to the folder you set as your default. 16
Use of Function Keys Within the EMR F1 Opens the Reference Manual from wherever you are in the EMR. F2 Logs a user out and takes you to the Login screen. 17
Use of Function Keys Within the EMR F3 Opens the Patient Monitor from certain screens, such as from the Phone Message screen. F6 If on the Desktop, this function will take you back into the previously opened chart. If you have no charts open, it will open the Patient Search Window. 18
Use of Function Keys Within the EMR F12 From a Patient Field (such as on Phone Messages), this Function Key will insert the name of the patient whose chart you last accessed. 19
Patient Monitor Quick access to important patient information without having to open the chart Allows you to keep your current task open while you look for other information in the chart Can be accessed from multiple areas of the EMR Users can create their own templates for the Patient Monitor and default their own template in User Preferences 20

Where you can access the Patient Monitor... Click the question mark icon in the top right corner of any window where you can associate the patient. Be sure you have selected a patient in the window or the monitor cannot open. 22
