WEB BROWSER Your Drupal CMS website will work best in Mozilla Firefox. Download the free software here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-us/firefox/ LOGIN Go to www. yourdomainname.com.au/user Enter in your username and password and click the Log in button. Your username and password will have been emailed to you once your website was launched. If you cannot find it contact us on info@webprophets.net.au and we will send it through to you again. Once logged in, click on the toolbar icon in the top left hand corner to expand the administration menu. 3

Claiming Your Business Before you can edit your business profile, add Events and Specials you must register with the site to create a username and password. This will then be approved by the Website Manager. To do this follow these steps: Search to find your business listing: Once you find your business listing, click on the Claim Here link at the bottom of the page. 4

You will then be taken to a page to setup an account. Enter in all of your details. Fields with the * are mandatory. Click on Create New Account and an email notification will be sent to the Website Manager for approval. 5

Once your application to Claim Your Business has been approved, you will be sent an email with your username and a temporary password. Click on the link within the email and login. You will be re-directed to a page to re-set your password. 6

EDITING YOUR BUSINESS LISTING Now that your password has been re-set you can edit your Business Listing. To do this, Search for your business name and click on Edit. Enter in the name of the Business. Upload up to 5 images for the business. The image which is first is the image that appears on the business listing page. Use the dropdown menu here to select a category or create a new one by selecting <create new item> from the same menu. Multiple categories can be added. Enter in a description of your business. You can also add links, images and embed YouTube videos. Instructions for this is on the following pages. Enter in the address and contact details for the business. Please note: all details entered here will be visible to the public. Social Media: Copy and paste the URL to your Facebook, Twitter or YouTube page. Please note: once a URL has been entered the appropriate icon will appear when viewing the business profile. Paste the Google Map code here. Please refer to instructions on page 10. 7

WYSIWYG EDITOR ICONS In brief the WYSIWYG editor allows you to do the following: ICON DESCRIPTION ICON DESCRIPTION View html code, useful if you have HTML knowledge for manipulating the code. Align Cut text Copy, paste, paste as plain text, paste from word Revert back to previous & redo an action Find something on the page and replace content on a page Select all Remove formatting Add Smiley Bold, Italic, Underline, strike through Subscript, Superscript Link and Anchors Insert images and flash media Insert Table Insert Horizontal Line Insert special characters Dividing line for teaser (wherever you place this line, this is where the content will cut off on the page i.e. homepage under the news section) Maximise the WYSIWG area Format use pre-formatted styles as set up by Web Prophets Font style and size Ordered lists and bullet points Indent and outdent Blockquote Font Colour Highlight text like a marker View block of content 8

ADDING IMAGES, DOCUMENTS & LINKS Note about adding images: Click in the WYSIWYG editor where you want the image to appear and then click the image icon. To upload a new image click the Browse Server. Browse your computer for the right image and then click upload to the server. Make sure you image is formatted to 72DPI (jpg for image or gif for graphic) and is under 1000 pixels in width. Also make sure your image name has no spaces or unusual characters and it is saved as a jpg or gif file. Use the elements in the pop up window to control the display of the image: Width and height to reduce the size of the image Border to place a coloured border around the image HSpace and VSpace to create white space around the image Align to move the image left or right and get text to wrap around it. Note about adding documents such as pdf files: Highlight the text you want to link to the document that you are going to upload and then click the link icon (the first one in this panel). To upload a new document click the Browse Server button. At the bottom of the page click the Browse button to find the file on your computer, once found select it and then click the Upload button. Once uploaded click the file should now appear on the screen, this will select it and automatically close the server window. Click Okay and this will create the link for you. Note about adding links to pages within your website and external websites: Highlight the text you want to link to a page/website and then click the link icon (the first one in this panel). And paste the link into the URL field in the popup window. If the link is going to an external website, it is recommended that you set this to open in a new window. To do this click on the Target tab and select New Window (_blank). 9

GOOGLE MAPS Simply go to http://maps.google.com.au/, search for the business location, then click the link icon on the left hand side of the map and click Customize and Preview link for you to tailor the display. Change the width to 670. Click inside the field that says: Copy and paste HTML to embed in website, copy the link and paste it into the text box available on the Create a Business page. Also, if there is a location marker for the business already there for your business you can click it to expand the content before copying the link code across this way when someone views the page, they will also see the expanded content (see example below). ADDING a Video To add a YouTube video on your website, locate the video on YouTube and click the Share button. To embed the video onto your page copy the Embed Code and paste into your page using the Source button. To add the Embed Code to your page, make sure you are in Edit mode and then click the Source button in the body area and paste the code where you would like your video to display. 11

Meta keywords & Description You can add individual meta keywords and descriptions for each page. Click the + sign to extend the Meta Tags area. Keywords Enter the keywords, separated by commas, in the Keywords field that relates to the type of content you are creating. For example: web server hosting, website design, web design, melbourne, web development, internet development, domain name registration, hosting, php, mysql, website design melbourne, web design melbourne, email marketing Description Enter a short description in the Description field that relates to the type of content you are creating. For example: Web Prophets, complete web design and hosting services from simple web sites through to high-end CMS solutions. Located in Melbourne call 1800 010 255. PAGE TITLES You can edit Page Titles for every content item you create. If you do not enter a page title then the default page title setting will be used. Please note: There is no need to include YOUR COMPANY NAME as this is already assigned to every page in the website. 12

Create new CONTENT To create new content on the site, simply select what type of content you want to add. Click the Create Content link on the left hand side Administration area. Please remember any content you create will not display on the website until the Website Manager approves it. Create a news item Submit Latest News items to the website by clicking Create Content > News. Simply add in a title, image, text and any attachments for your news item. Upload a photo to go with your News Item. 13

Create a event To add a new Event, click Create Content > Event link on the side menu. Fill in the fields as required and click Save. Enter in the Title for this Event Upload a Listing Image. The Listing image is the image that appears in the listing for events. Upload any images for this event that will appear in the body of the page. Enter in the description and any additional information for this event Enter the Date of the event. If for example, the Event runs every Monday for one month, then you can repeat the event by adding the appropriate frequency. eg: Frequency: Every Period: Month Frequency Options are: Repeat Every Week and enter the End date. Advanced Options Select the month(s), Day of the Month and Day of the Week. You can also choose only some of these options. Eg: Month: September & October Day of the Week: Every Monday Except If there is a public holiday for example and the event won t be running you can add a specific date to exclude. 14

Enter in the Time for this Event. Enter in the Location details for this Event. Enter in the Cost (if any) and where you can buy tickets for this Event. Enter in Contact Details, Email and Website URL for this Event. 15

Create a SPECIAL To add a new special, click Create Content > Special link on the side menu. Add all of the information for the special and click Save. Enter in the Title for this Special Upload any images(s) for this Special that will appear in the body of the page. Select the Trader that this special belongs to. Enter the from and to dates. If for example, the Event runs every Monday for one month, then you can repeat the event by adding the appropriate frequency. eg: Frequency: Every Period: Month Frequency Options are: Repeat Every Week and enter the End date.
