Students will study a wide range of subjects to include biological sciences, radiographic anatomy and pathology, X-ray positioning and procedures, patient care and medical imaging technology. In addition, students will study the core elements of specialist medical imaging modalities such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography and ultrasound (US). The programme places a strong emphasis on learning by doing to link classroom theory and laboratory simulation with supervised clinical practice in local hospitals and clinics. Employment opportunities for graduates are varied and exciting, ranging from X-ray in Primary Healthcare Clinics to Diagnostic Imaging in specialised hospital Radiology Departments.
