Plan your experience Agenda tracks A: End-User Computing Delivering Mobility, Productivity and Innovation Providing stakeholders with seamless access to relevant information increases productivity and improves user satisfaction through faster, better service. To create a high quality user experience requires close integration of multiple technologies tailored to the user s role and industry, which can be costly to deliver and support. The real issue is fi nding balance between user experience and governance without one compromising the other. Technology and user expectations are evolving faster than industry standards and what traditionally IT has been able to provide. Trends such as BYOD and consumerization of IT are increasing data security risks. This track focuses on how, by embracing mobility and investment in training and policies, organizations can adopt a strategic approach to improve the business while keeping cost and risk under control. B: Service Management Improving IT Operations for Digital Business Cloud, mobility, social and information are placing increased pressure on IT operations. The drive is to embrace new business models, utilize emerging technologies and enhance stakeholder engagement. New concepts are gaining traction to handle the increased velocity of change including bimodal IT and DevOps. Further, there is expanding demand for improved automation so as to scale business systems. In addition, the use of metrics is taking center stage as organizations look beyond traditional operational measurements to demonstrate value in service delivery. This track addresses IT operations at all levels of maturity, with the aim of helping I&O leaders advance to the role of valued strategic partner. C: Data Center Infrastructures From Current Implementations to Future Architectures Gartner estimates that the average data center (DC) will experience at least 300% data growth during the next fi ve years. Exponential growth in demand will place additional burden on storage space, network bandwidth and computation capacity all while service level demand is rising and regulatory compliance is becoming more stringent. New technologies and approaches will be vital to satisfy demand. This track assists organizations looking to modernize their DC infrastructure. It will examine new architectures, such as webscale and hyperscale computing, to address these emerging challenges, and the ways that organizations can harness them in harmony with existing DC investments. It will assist organizations looking to modernize network architecture or to address key server and storage issues.
