Software-protection client activation The activation of the software protection can only be carried out on a client operating system. It is also possible to make a software protection directly on server-operating-systems. Take further details from the manual Software protection server. Windows Vista and Windows 7: Please note, that moveit@iss+ must be executed as administrator in order to be able to request the software protection. Instead of using a hardlock-dongle (e.g. parallel, serial, USB, PCMCIA), software protection can be used in order to provide your computer with a moveit@iss+ licence. Each computer must have a licence (main or sub licence). Advantages: There won t be any initial costs, like there would be when using a hardlockdongle. There won t be any problems regarding additonal hardware or drivers. ATTENTION: When software protection client is used, the licence is bound to one computer. If that computer is no longer working or if you want to use moveit@iss+ on a different PC, then a new software protection must be requested and the old one must be deleted. Seite 1 von 11
Software protection activation procedure: ATTENTION: You need administration rights in order to carry out this procedure. 1. Delete the old software protection This step can be obmitted in case of a new installation or new licence. In order to transfer your data from the old PC to the new one it is important to save/copy the data (folder moveit_iss) of your installation. This has to be done BEFORE carrying out the following steps. Open the moveit@iss+ installation on your old PC as always Open the dialog Dongle Settings via [File] [ISS Tools] [Programs] [Dongle Settings] Click the button to delete the old software-protection. This version will still work for 30 days and will be disabled afterwards. Seite 2 von 11
ATTENTION: This step cannot be withdrawn! If you confirmed this message you will receive a deactivation code. You will need this code to order a new software-protection (for your new pc). Please write down this code or send the deactivation code-file (from the installationpath) via email (together with the hardware-registration-code, step 2). Without this special code it will not be possible to create a new software protection. 2. Create a hardware signatur (on the new computer) During the first 5 days after the new installation we provide you a moveit Setup licence, so that you can start the program immediately after the installation. Nevertheless your licence shoud be activated as soon as possible, therefore you have to request your software protection. Seite 3 von 11
So that you can request the software protection, open the window Dongle Settings by clicking on [File] [ISS Tools] [Programs] [Dongle settings] If you have not activated the software protection since the moveit Setup licence expires, the following message appears, when you start the program. Please confirm the message by clicking on the button [Yes] to open the Dongle Settings. Now tick the strap SWS Client and enter your moveit@iss+ licence number, which can be found on your contract we sent to you. Seite 4 von 11
To confirm the licence number, please click on the button:. Now click on the button. Then please send an email containing your dongle number and hardware signature to sales@moveit.at. You can paste your hardware signature from your clip board into your email, by clicking on Edit\Paste from the menu bar. Please, announces to us, in addition, the deactivation code from step1 (not necessary with a new licence) the name of the assistant or the PC name for which this software protection is issued. Within 24h (during business days) you will receive your registration code and dongle number via email. Seite 5 von 11
ATTENTION: Your dongle number and registration code can only be entered on the computer, where the hardware signature was created. 3. Dongle number and registration code entry Please restart your moveit@iss+ session and open the window for the dongle administration with click on [Yes]. With you confirm the licence number again (do not change that number) and enter your dongle number and registration code. The safest way in order to avoid spelling mistakes, would be to highlight the numbers on your email, copy (CTRL + C) them into your clip board and paste (CTRL + V) them into the required fields. The dongle number and registration code must be entered 1:1 (upper and lower case sensitive!) In the column "selected Ports/protocols" "software protection-client" must be selected, so that while starting the program it is also searched for this. With the you can check whether your settings were executed correctly. Save your settings with click on [Save]. Now you can choose if the settings should be set for all users. After you have clicked on [Yes] you get the information, that the individual settings for the users will get lost. If you want to go on, click on [Yes] again. Seite 6 von 11

(ATTENTION: You must be registered and announced on our homepage) Close the program and start by double click the file InstallLicence.exe the installation. In the "Installer Language" window, choose the required language for the installation: The "Welcome" window contains general information, which are important for the installation. To fully complete the installation, please click on the button [Finish]. By the first start (only new installation) of moveit@iss+ appears the following message: Insert in the field Name your company name. Owner is 1.
