Getting Started For this connection to work you have to have Java installed on your PC. Check if Java is installed 1. Open Control Panel 2. In control panel See if you have an Icon for Java. If you do then you have it installed. *(you may want to make sure that the version you have is newer than version 8)
Install Java If Java needs to be installed, then open your browser, and download and install Java. Instructions are provided on Oracle s website. HERE: https://java.com/en/download/ -or- Google: Java Setting up C-Systems Go To: https://parts.wrightmfg.com/picklist/parts_picklist_view.php Internet Explorer: - Internet Explorer should work without any changes. Mozilla Firefox: - Firefox will require a quick adjustment 1. Click Allow at the top of the page after 2. Click the block to the left of the address bar and select Allow and Remember for both settings.
3. After your computer thinks for a second, a message like the one below should pop-up. Check Do not show this again. And click Run Google Chrome: 1. When the page opens up click learn more 2. Copy the text chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
3. Click Enable under the setting title Enable NPAPI which should be highlighted for you already. 4. Using C-Systems If Java is working properly on your browser then you can now test to see if you are good to go. Add C-Systems 1. Check the box in the picture below so this tools remembers to come up every time you visit this site.
2. The page should have refreshed and you should now have some extra buttons to the right side of your picklist. (If you have parts in your picklist) 3. You now have to add the path of your C-Systems software to this page as shown below. Paths will vary from Infinity vs. Enterprise systems (**Please note that the paths below are just references, and your paths in reality may be different. This will not work unless your paths are correct**) Enterprise System: C:\temp\epcinterface.exe Infinity System: \\INFINITY InfinityServer\PartSmart\PartSmartClient.exe **please note, if your server is different from INFINITY then replace INFINITY with your server name and double check to make sure this path is correct. 4. Once the path is set you should be able to Check Inventory and Create Pick Ticket
Add Alternate Line Code You will have to add an alternate line code for C-Systems Infinity and Enterprise so the software will know which OEM profile to query. Infinity: go to Line Maintenance and add WMI without apostrophes. Enterprise: go to LINEFM and add WMI without apostrophes. Check Inventory 1. After you have added some parts to your Picklist you can check your inventory just by clicking the Check Inventory button. A successful check will look like this An unsuccessful check will look like this
Create Pick Ticket 1. The Create Pick Ticket button will automatically create a Sales Order in C-Systems software with the parts in your picklist pre-populated. An example in the enterprise systems looks like the image below, and a failed example would just cause the screen to flash with no error message.
