Movie Instructions: Downloading, Saving, & Watching

1 Thank you for your purchase of Church Windows Recorded Classes Online. We hope the benefit of watching, reviewing, and reading along will help your church tasks flow more smoothly and efficiently. In order to view this movie, your computer will need Windows Media Player. This comes installed on every Windows PC. So, unless it was removed, nothing else needs to be done. Your computer will also require Adobe Flash Player. Your computer probably already has Flash, as it is used to create the movie-like effects on many popular websites. In case Flash is not installed (it won t hurt to reinstall, if you want to be sure) and if you have this document open on your computer screen, here is a link to download and install it: Unless you are certain that you specifically want them, we suggest un-checking/not installing any offered add-ons such as security scans or toolbars as you go through the installation process. The use of Internet Explorer as your browser is highly recommended for these videos. Video and audio of these movies might work in either Firefox or Chrome, but Firefox or Chrome may require a Windows Media Player plug-in or extension. Quick-access to specific topics only functions when using Internet Explorer. Most importantly, please remember that though these videos are provided for unlimited use within your church, the purchase is not a license to share these beyond the benefit of your specific congregation. Thanks for the understanding and for honoring this license. After completing the online purchase process of the desired videos, you will see a screen listing the video(s) that you purchased. Download and Save them one at a time. To start, click Start Download.

2 Next, this screen will appear. Click Start Download. You may then choose either Run or Save. Run is the most simple option. Depending on your browser, you may have the choice of Open, rather than Run. They function the same. Choose Save if wish to place the file in a specific location on your computer s hard drive. Please wait while the file downloads.

3 Because the Recorded Classes Online installer is, technically, a program (an executable), Internet Explorer will give you some warnings that are easy to get through. Click View Downloads. Click Actions. Click More Options.

4 Click Run Anyway. Next, begin the installation process by clicking Next.

5 Click Next again. Click Install.

6 The green bar will move left to right as the installation progresses. On this box, note the checkmark beside View A101 Start Movie. If you are watching the movie now, click Finish. You will now have access to the movie and the Training Book under the computer Start button as explained next.

7 Whenever you want to watch a movie or look at a book, click on the Church Windows Training folder to view all of your purchased Recorded Classes Online and accompanying Training Books! To watch the movie, click Start, All Programs, Church Windows Training, and click on the Movie to start.

8 If you re using Internet Explorer, clicking on the topics along the left will cause the movie to quickly advance to that subject. If your default browser is something other than Internet Explorer (i.e. Firefox or Chrome) and you want to have the benefit of quick access to movie topics, open the movie in Internet Explorer. Click Start, All Programs, and Church Windows Training. Right-click on the movie you wish to watch, choose Open With, then Internet Explorer.
