a POINT OF PRIDE! USS Abraham Lincoln USS Theodore Roosevelt Each U.S. carrier consumed approximately 5 million pounds of rigid foam. Contrary to popular belief, foam is not used for flotation purposes in an aircraft carrier. Rigid foam is used to insulate the Walk-In refrigeration units capable of storing food for up to 6,000 personnel for up to 6 months. USS George Washington Foam Supplies, Inc. would like to thank not only our employees who have served in our Armed Forces, but all service men and women of years past and years to come for the sacrifices they have made and continue to make for our country and others. - David G.
